Clinical Sales Specialist

New England Aquarium

<div>We are seeking a highly motivated Aerial Observer Seasonal Field Technician to participate in aerial surveys for whales, dolphins and sea turtles in New England waters. Duties will include serving as an observer on aerial surveys; quality checking data; coordination with other observers and the flight crew; and analysis of vertical photographs for the detection and identification of marine mammal and turtle species. The successful applicant will be required to attend and satisfactorily complete aircraft and marine safety and survival training.
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 6 months, with the possibility for extension based upon funding and performance. The schedule will be 2 &ndash; 5 days per week based upon the availability of the applicant, but applicants must be available to be on call for fieldwork during scheduled days. On call schedules are flexible and determined approximately 1 &ndash; 3 weeks beforehand. This is primarily a field work position, requiring some irregular hours and some long days on flight days, as well as occasional work on weekends and holidays. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation to get to and from New Bedford airport as early as 8am. Office work can be conducted remotely and with flexible hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Participate in all aerial survey activities, including observer logistics, scientific data collection, monthly reporting, photographic and data analysis, and ground contact.</li><li>

Research Technician - Aerial Observer

<div>The Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life at the New England Aquarium seeks an Assistant Laboratory Research Scientist to support conservation science within the Wildlife and Ocean Health (WOH) Program. This position contributes to laboratory-based efforts to assess the health and reproduction of marine wildlife through endocrine analysis and related techniques. The role focuses on processing biological samples, conducting hormone assays, including enzyme and radioimmunoassays, maintaining laboratory infrastructure, and ensuring high data quality in collaboration with research scientists. The Assistant Research Scientist will support a long-standing (25+ year) endocrine monitoring program and work with a large, long-term archive of biological samples collected from protected marine species. Species of research interest include North Atlantic right whales, Blainville's beaked whales, Florida manatees, Kemp's ridley sea turtles, and leatherback turtles.
This is a full-time, 12 month, grant-funded position. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package. Work must be conducted on-site. The regular schedule will be Monday &ndash; Friday, 9a &ndash; 4:30p, and may require occasional work on weekends or off hours, depending upon sample schedules or field operations.

 Maintain updated UCP training rosters and database of available PD trainings.

 Assist in preparing required UCP data/reporting for grants.

 Assist the UCP team with reports and presentations.
 </li>

 Update organizational charts and other internal documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track expiration and renewal of CPR and other staff documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and share birthday cards for UCP staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and send UCP Newsletter every month.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in maintaining accurate data in ADP, ClearCompany, SharePoint.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and review all Administrative Assistant SOPs as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Book hotel and flights for staff and communicate with hotel and airlines as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide receipts of all purchases made with Divvy card to director and upload them to Bill.com in timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Order food for team meetings as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.
