The primary area of research focus is deregulated cell death and transcriptional pathways in cancer, with a major interest in overcoming chemoresistance through the development and application of novel chemical tools and prototype therapeutics.

The focus of this individual&rsquo;s work will be evaluating new therapeutic targets in a combination of mouse xenograft and cell line models, and analyze clinical breast tissue samples. Additional duties include lab maintenance and organization.

Job Summary</b></p>
The responsibilities of this position are varied and involve coordination of multiple aspects of research projects, including collecting and analyzing neuroimaging data (MEG, ERP), statistical analysis, and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the lab.<br>

Work with individuals from a multidisciplinary team to collect fMRI, ERP and MEG data in healthy adult volunteers and to work on pre-processing and analysis of large language data sets using computational modeling.</p><p></p><p>
Set up, prepare, and run routine neuroimaging and behavioral experiments as directed. This includes:</p><ul><li>Interaction with human participants</li><li>Preparing and maintaining lab instruments and equipment</li><li>Documenting experimental procedures and following them</li><li>Management and organization of experimental data on research servers</li></ul><p></p><p>
Work well with others to preprocess and analyze neuroimaging data and trouble-shooting any computer code relating to data presentation and analysis. Our work leverages an interdisciplinary toolkit&mdash;including tissue imaging, single-cell sequencing, and in vitro culture systems&mdash;to elucidate how these cells operate during the late stages of Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease.

 The Research Assistant will perform a variety of laboratory research tasks related to our projects investigating cell&ndash;cell interactions in tauopathy and their impact on disease progression. The work will be performed under specific direction, and the research assistant may be asked to perform familiar tasks independently.
