The Resource Support Assistant provides secretarial and administrative support for attorneys and paralegals in various practice groups. <b>The Day-To-Day</b><div><br>
On Any Given Day, You Will:</div><ul><li>
Compose correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents. Make edits to and proofread documents; review same for appropriate formatting, spelling, and grammar.</li><li>
Coordinate, follow through and execute work requests from attorneys and paralegals</li><li>
Support projects with other support departments (e.g., client billing, managing clerks office, file/document clerks, office services, etc.).</li><li>
Verify all attachments, exhibits and enclosures are included with transmittal letters/memos, and various real estate and/or corporate documents.</li><li>
Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and firm clients.</li><li>
Prepare expense reports; make travel arrangements; submit conflict checks; prepare meeting agendas; coordinate meetings, conferences, closing packages; track attorney CLE credits and review client billing.</li><li>
Maintain calendars, contacts and deadline reminder systems.</li><li>
Provide overflow and absence coverage as well as secretarial support for the Secretarial Team Members&rsquo; and attorneys.</li><li>
Support various litigation organizational projects as necessary.</li></ul><br>

Ability to work in the office 9:00 am &ndash; 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (flex schedule offered after training completed).</b></li><li>
1 &ndash; 2 years of legal office experience a plus.</li><li>
Knowledge of basic real estate and/or corporate practice a plus.</li><li>
Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Document Management System), with the ability to become proficient in new software and operating systems. Knowledge of legal terminology.</li><li>

The salary range for this role is $53,000 to $60,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Boston. Maintain and manage a non-clinical caseload of students experiencing basic needs challenges; provide short-term, strengths-based support, resource navigation, referrals, and follow-up.</li><li>
Assist students with applications for food assistance and other community-based support programs.</li><li>
Document student interactions and maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with college policies.</li><li>
Coordinate with campus partners to ensure appropriate referrals and continuity of care.</li><li>
Manage the overall operations of The Shelf, MassArt's food pantry, including ordering, receiving, stocking, distributing supplies, and maintaining inventory and food quality standards.</li><li>

Plan and implement workshops, class presentations, and information sessions related to housing, food access, and Basic Needs.</li><li>
Coordinate outreach efforts and create accessible, culturally affirming informational and presentation materials to engage students experiencing basic needs disparities.</li><li>
Assist with monitoring program expenditures and budget projections and maintain accurate budget records.</li><li>
Work with the assigned administrator to establish and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations and collaborate with relevant campus offices.</li><li>
Evaluate policies, procedures, and practices related to Basic Needs services and recommend improvements.</li><li>
Work with Financial Aid and Student Success and Enrollment Management to identify students with long term financial planning needs and work directly with those students to create long term financial solutions for their educational journey.</li><li>

<ul><li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, public health or a closely related field.</li><li>
One to three (1-3) years of relevant experience in student services, community services, program coordination, or human services.</li><li>
Experience providing support, resource navigation, or case coordination in a non-clinical setting.</li><li>
Demonstrated commitment to working with students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.</li><li>

   Reviews clinical information to identify patients meeting study inclusion criteria. Consents and enrolls patients for research studies by providing detailed information on the Research Study to patients and families. Serves as liaison to the families/patients in the research studies, conducted at both on-site and off-site locations, guiding and advising them throughout each phase of the study.

   Is responsible for understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures and responds to all inquiries. Coordinates follow up visits as necessary. Acts as a resource to study participants, addressing any concerns they may have.

   Troubleshoots resolution of any issues that may arise throughout the study. Coordinates and prepares documentation needed for Institutional Review Board (IRB) on submissions, for PI approval. Conducts data collection activities and may prepare analytical reports on study results.
