 The Risk Management and Patient Safety Specialist will report to the Manager of Risk Management Support Services and will have responsibility for the complete implementation and continuous update of the risk management framework within PHCC.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities &amp; Duties:

 Review trends in reported incidents and identify high risk areas.

 Review incidents using a system approach, involving stakeholders from frontline and management, developing actionable recommendations

 Provide PHCC with a comprehensive Corporate Risk Register built up through a combination of risks identified by the Management team and by frontline clinical services and actively supporting risk owners in addressing these risks.

 Summary
 
 
 
 The incumbent will join the Group Strategic Risk Management department and will support the Bank&rsquo;s climate risk efforts globally. Working in close partnership with stakeholders across the Bank, the role will focus on delivery and coordination of risk management best practice in this evolving area. This will involve the enhancement of the Group&rsquo;s framework to identify, measure, monitor and manage the financial risks from Climate Change in line with evolving regulatory and market expectations. The incumbent will be involved in the integration of climate risk into governance frameworks and processes and will collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank to implement specific climate risk management processes.
 
 
 A key part of the role will involve taking ownership for the delivery of the QNB Group&rsquo;s climate scenario analysis, including interpretation and communication of the resulting conclusions &amp; the formulation of recommended actions. The role also encompasses responsibility for understanding and responding to new regulation and improving transparency and disclosures.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 Support the development and implementation of a framework for identifying, measuring, monitoring and managing the financial risk from Climate Change in line with regulatory expectations

 Draft and develop governance materials and risk framework documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate integration of climate risk into core governance frameworks and processes such as portfolio analysis, risk appetite and ICAAP
 </li>

 Partner with risk management teams (e.g. Credit Portfolio Management, Market Risk) to drive portfolio analysis capabilities

 Review the output of the Stress Testing / scoring tool models and engage with Credit Approvers on determining the best course of actions for customer identified as presenting a high climate risk.
