Mission:
We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Sales Director to build and lead our sales efforts in MENA (Middle East and North Africa). This is a strategic market for EnerVenue and this role will be a major market priority for the company&rsquo;s growth plans. You will be the architect of our Sales strategy and go to market campaign in MENA as we grow our team and market share. They then spent the next 5 years at a start-up developing renewable energy, energy storage or other clean energy technologies with customers that include utilities, commercial and industrial accounts.<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering or related discipline is required. A Master&rsquo;s in Business Administration or additional technical credentials is strongly desired.</li><li>
Expertise in Middle Eastern (Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc.) electricity markets is required; applicants should have 5 years of demonstrated customer-facing sales experience in these markets.</li><li>
10+ years of progressive experience in Sales with demonstrated track record of closing complex sales cycles, in an early-stage company is desired. Experience managing P&amp;L and working to achieve ambitious goals is highly desirable.</li><li>
Proven experience in the electric industry &ndash; such as renewables, battery, energy storage, automotive, or aerospace industries &ndash; where product failure is not an option and product lifecycles are measured in decades.</li></ul>
