The Role 
The Builder&rsquo;s Risk Broker is recognized by the client, client advocate team and the insurance marketplace as the day-to-day broker for coverage needs, negotiating terms and conditions of various Construction coverage's on behalf of clients. 
 
The Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Manages brokerage responsibilities for a book of new and recurring/annual policies. Primary focus on Project Builder&rsquo;s Risk, Master Builder&rsquo;s Risk Programs, and Contractor&rsquo;s Block</li>
<li>Leads broking communication efforts by e-mail, telephone, and written correspondence with underwriters and producers</li>
<li>Obtains and distributes information from client and/or producing office</li>

What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support Agile software development projects for federal and commercial clients in the Health industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned analyst who can independently lead requirements activities, partner closely with technical and business leadership, and contribute to overall delivery success.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, owning complex requirement efforts and helping shape scalable, high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation efforts for Agile software development initiatives</li><li>
Translate complex business needs into clear, testable user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria</li><li>
Partner with Product Owners to manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog</li><li>
Act as a primary liaison between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams</li><li>
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives</li><li>
Define and document functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance, integration, scalability)</li><li>
Support solution design discussions by providing business and system-level insights</li><li>
Identify and manage requirements-related risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impacts</li><li>
Support testing, defect triage, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business intent</li><li>
Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery reporting as needed</li><li>
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices</li></ul>
What You Will Need:<ul><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree is required</li><li>
US Citizenship or a Green card is required</li><li>
A minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development projects</li><li>
Must be willing to work TWO (2) days ONSITE- Hybrid</li><li>
Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments</li><li>
Strong ability to independently lead requirements efforts with minimal oversight</li><li>
Experience translating business needs into technical artifacts (user stories, workflows, data requirements, APIs)</li><li>
Proficiency with Agile and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar</li><li>
Experience defining, prioritizing, and delivering data‑driven product capabilities leveraging modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks</li><li>
Knowledge of Health industry related software needs and acumen</li><li>
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills</li><li>
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams</li></ul>
What Would Be Nice to Have:<ul><li>
Experience supporting federal government clients or highly regulated environments</li><li>
Familiarity with modern software architectures (cloud-native, microservices, APIs)</li><li>
Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and applying design thinking practices</li><li>
Agile or business analysis certifications (CSPO, CSM, PMI-PBA, SAFe, or similar)</li><li>
Experience contributing to proposals, SOWs, or client-facing deliverables</li></ul>
The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
