Position Overview:
Quality Protection Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Dispatcher to manage daily scheduling operations and support field personnel. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Essential Functions:
Dispatcher ensures that there is timely and appropriately skilled coverage for Security staff who are absent due to call-outs, vacations or other reasons. Candidate must be able to work and effectively communicate with Security staff, field and operations management, HR and Recruiting teams in a high pressure, time-sensitive environment to ensure customer satisfaction by preventing staffing shortfalls at client locations.<ul><li>Answer and track calls and emails from Security staff who call to advise of anticipated lateness or absences.</li><li>Ensure timely and appropriately skilled replacements for call-outs and other reported absences, such as vacations, in a cost-effective manner.</li><li>Promptly communicate with operations and field management regarding expected absences, changes in schedules and coverage.</li><li>Prepares and maintain temp/replacement schedules</li><li>Coordinate with Operations to ensure sufficient absentee coverage is available at all times.</li><li>Ensure all employee/staffing coverage lists are up to date at all times.</li><li>Ensure that temp/replacement Security Officers have been successfully hired into Payroll and HR systems before ever sent to jobsites to commence working.</li><li>Communicate with temp/replacement Security Officers regarding their schedule and assigned job location and ensure that they fully understand same</li><li>Coordinate appropriate Security coverage make required notifications during emergencies, such as floods, fires, injuries and snow storms.</li><li>Monitor and ensure that Security Officer/Fire Life Safety Director are clocking in and clocking out as scheduled.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

</div>Purpose of Position:
This position is an integral part of the health care setting service and the incumbent receives assignments from the appropriate employee in charge of patient and messenger escort, in accordance with the operational procedures determined by health care setting leadership. Transports patients to and from the Nursing Service and all other patient areas for specialized treatment and examinations as a primary function, but will also perform such other duties as required.
Examples of Typical Tasks:
1. Obtains patient escort assignments and schedules from a designated Dispatcher/Supervisor, Service Department and reports to Nurse-in-Charge.
2. Introduces self to patient, explains the nature of the trip, and escorts the patient to and from the Nursing Service to a designated area until someone else assumes responsibility for the patient or given another assignment by the Nursing Supervisor and reports back to the Dispatcher/Supervisor, Service Department.
3. Transports patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed or stretcher-bed, and escorts ambulatory patients, including those with intravenous apparatus to and from various nursing units, x-ray, scheduled therapies, various clinics, other diagnostic and therapeutic units, transfers, discharges, religious and recreation centers within the healthcare setting, accompany children to school within.
4. Maintains control of patients&rsquo; charts and releases same only to authorized personnel.
5. Maintains records of patient transport activities including the time a patient is picked-up, time of patient&rsquo;s arrival at a specified area and time of patient&rsquo;s return to the Nursing Service.
6. Places patients in and out of wheelchair, stretcher, bed, and morgue tray and obtains assistance, if necessary. Positions patents on tables in such areas as x-ray, P.T., etc. and uses Hoyer lifters and other patient lifting devices.
7. Escorts newly-admitted patients to designated areas in the health care setting complex and assists them in storing their luggage, packages, clothing and other items.
8. Transports bodies and/or assists Mortuary Caretaker in transporting same to the mortuary and places in refrigerator and, when necessary, searches D.O.A.&rsquo;s, completes the required D.O.A.&rsquo;s reports, transports fetus, amputated parts or other specimen to morgue; delivers specimens, charts, x-rays, etc. to and from specified area (such as O.R., wards, laboratories, etc.).
9. Responsible for the ready availability, upkeep and cleanliness of wheelchairs, stretchers, stretcher beds and morgue trays, sterilization of incoming patients&rsquo; clothing and other items, when required.
10. Performs such other duties as are necessary, when assigned (e.g., collect and deliver regular and emergency requisitions for x-ray, electrocardiograph, basal metabolism, physiotherapy and other diagnostic tests and treatments, assists with transporting various equipment and supplies and other messenger assignment).

Troubleshoot complex VPN connectivity issues and performance bottlenecks</li><li>
Develop and maintain VPN architecture documentation and standard operating procedures</li><li>
Configure, manage, and monitor network security devices, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and load balancers. Ensure proper access controls, segmentation, and hardening of network devices.</li><li>
Support responses to security incidents, including conducting thorough investigations and implementing necessary remediation measures. Create incident response plans and playbooks to enhance incident handling efficiency.</li><li>
Implement, and enforce network security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to network security.</li><li>
Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.</li><li>
Implement and manage network security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security threats in real-time. Configure alerts and notifications to proactively address potential security incidents.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a security-first mindset across the organization.</li><li>
Stay up to date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices. Participate in industry conferences and forums to share knowledge and gain insights.</li></ul>

About the Role

HERE is growing, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting &amp; Operations Analyst to join our team! This hybrid role is approximately 60% Finance-focused and 40% general Operations.

This is a junior-level position and an excellent opportunity for an individual with foundational accounting knowledge who is eager to take ownership of core daily financial functions. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the team's efficiency, particularly as we optimize our NetSuite ERP system.

Operations duties will scale with the needs of the team; a snapshot of potential responsibilities is outlined below.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>General Ledger &amp; Bookkeeping:</li>
<li><ul><li>Perform daily and routine bookkeeping activities, including bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger.</li>
<li>Prepare and post routine journal entries, including standard, recurring, and reversing entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.</li>
<li>Support the month-end and year-end close processes.</li>
</ul></li><li>Tax &amp; Compliance Support:</li>
<li><ul><li>Assist in compiling documentation and schedules required tax filings in multiple jurisdictions.</li>
<li>Support the team with tax-related tasks, including sales tax setups and reporting within the NetSuite environment.</li>
</ul></li><li>System and Tool Management:</li>
<li><ul><li>Work extensively with NetSuite (our Enterprise Resource Planning system) for financial management, reporting, and data entry.</li>
<li>Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools for data analysis, reporting, and creating reconciliations and schedules.</li>
</ul></li><li>Administrative &amp; Ad-Hoc:</li>
<li><ul><li>Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and account reconciliations.</li>
<li>Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.</li>
<li>Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows.</li>
</ul></li><li>Operations Support</li>
<li><ul><li>Ownership of equipment ordering and tracking for new and current employees</li>
<li>Assist HR as the on-site POC to welcome new hires</li>
<li>Additional duties will be assigned as the role and comfort level progresses</li>

</ul>What We're Looking For
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>Two years of experience in a professional accounting or finance role. A minimum of prior internship experience in a corporate accounting setting is preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with foundational accounting principles (GAAP).</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/spreadsheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and other Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.</li>
<li>Familiarity with NetSuite or other major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage Intacct) is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
</ul>
