 clinical leadership, supervision of junior physicians, and contribution to service development

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 1. Clinical Care
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide comprehensive endocrine care across outpatient, inpatient, and consultative services
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage complex cases
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in consultant on-call coverage
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical practice
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the management of
 
 complex and multi-system endocrine conditions
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement
 
 diabetes and metabolic care pathways
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Support specialized clinics (e.g., diabetes, thyroid, osteoporosis)
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to improving clinical outcomes through standardized protocols
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise and mentor Specialists and junior physicians
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in clinical audits, morbidity &amp; mortality reviews
 </li>
 <li>
 Support teaching and CME activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with
 
 Qatar MoPH (DHP) licensing and scope of practice
 
 </li>

 Maintain high standards of clinical documentation
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Medical Degree (MBBS / MD or equivalent)
 </li>
 <li>
 Recognized Board Certification in
 
 Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Minimum 5 years post-board/fellowship experience
 
 in Endocrinology
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in managing complex endocrine cases in a tertiary-care setting
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Arabic-speaking
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in governmental or tertiary-care hospitals
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous leadership experience (Unit Lead / Deputy HOD / Program Lead)
 </li>
 <li>
 Academic or research involvement

 International certification (UK / European / American Boards preferred)
