<ul><li>Bench Press &ndash; This test measures the officer&rsquo;s upper body strength for one repetition. The test is conducted on a single fulcrum bench for safety purposes. The officer is to press the weight straight up until they have locked out their arms. The test is measured in 5-pound increments. Officers are weighed at the time of the test (in PT gear) and the appropriate percentage of the officer&rsquo;s weight is used to determine the percentage to be bench pressed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>1.5 Mile Run &ndash; This test measures the cardio-respiratory fitness of the officer. It is conducted on a flat surface track / pre-measured (flat) course/treadmill. The test is measured in minutes and seconds.</li></ul>
<ul><li>After initial PEB qualifications, must re-qualify on an annual basis.</li>
<li>SGOs failing to meet the minimum standards during annual requalification be allowed thirty (30) calendar days to successfully meet minimum standards. Security Guards failing to meet requirements after 30 calendar days will be placed on Weapons Restriction.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Physical Efficiency Battery: The PEB is a fitness test consisting of three differing components to measure the fitness level of the officer. The PEB is categorized by age and gender and with a graduated (percentile) scale that ranks officer&rsquo;s performance from the highest (99th percentile) to the lowest (1st percentile). As an example, a male between 35 to 39 years old is in the 99th percentile if they have 25.00 inches of flexibility, can push 172.14% of their body weight and can run 1.5 miles in 9:15. The same person would be in the 1st percentile with scores of 10 inches of flexibility, 51.50% of body weight pushed and a 1.5 mile run in 22:00.</li></ul></div>

Essential Functions</h1>
<ul><li>Demonstrates and evaluates safe work practices. Uses &ldquo;lead by example&rdquo; approach to safety procedures in the facility. Evaluates agents constantly to see that they are using safe work practices.</li><li>
Demonstrates safe work practices when observing agents using unsafe practices.</li><li>
Demonstrates an understanding of the daily customer service processes and procedures.</li><li>
Analyzes current work processes and procedures for application and efficiency. Implements new work processes and procedures as necessary. Trains new and current employees on new processes and procedures.</li><li>
Carries a high attention to detail. Demonstrates a critical eye for accurate freight receipt and freight storage requirements. Works with agents to see that the freight that is accepted is packaged in a manner as such so that it is not damaged, will not be damaged and/or cannot damage other freight, hurt an employee, and/or damage equipment used to transport it.</li><li>
Evaluates incoming freight for its compatibility with the aircraft and modify the freight build-up to facilitate ease in loading. Recognizes freight which should not be accepted for transportation. Determines the best possible utilization of warehouse, ramp, and connex space for storage of outgoing and backhaul freight. Communicates the size and weight restrictions of company aircraft to the customer when needed.</li><li>
Coach's agents to use their time sensibly so that that freight is built, marked and tagged completely and accurately.</li><li>
Relays company expectations to CSA&rsquo;s. Demonstrates the understanding of all company processes. Ensures the compliance by all agents and, if needed, implements disciplinary action.</li><li>
When new procedures are implemented, makes sure the training of agents is complete to provide the best possible value to the company and its customers.</li><li>
 Assists in disciplining customer service employees. Discreetly performs informal disciplinary action with employees when necessary. Informs the Cargo Manager of any employees who may need formal disciplinary action.</li><li>
 Assists customers with concerns and claims as they arise. Addresses initial customer concerns regarding damaged freight, timely transportation in person or on the telephone. Documents customer concerns that need the attention of the Cargo Manager and pass the information on to him or her. Follows up on customer issues that are delegated to others for resolution.</li></ul>
