This position is closely related to our Accounting and Tax Practice, focusing on small businesses and mid-sized companies across a range of industries, such as Real Estate, Construction, E-Commerce, Healthcare, Law Firms, and other relevant industries.</p><p>Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities</p><p>A typical day as a Senior Tax Accountant might include:</p><ul><li>Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations.</li><li>Prepare and/or review tax returns for S Corporation, Partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns.</li><li>Prepare and review monthly financial transactions.</li><li>Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet, and P&amp;L.</li><li>Review and verify complex account balances, ensuring financial integrity, and assisting with the month-end closing process.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred).</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of progressive tax and accounting experience.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience with accounting and tax software, including but not limited to Drake Tax, QuickBooks Online, or similar.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience working with construction, real estate, and other small businesses.</li><li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and clients.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li></ul><p>Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.</p><p>Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Contract</p><p>Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Work from home</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Tax Preparation for Individual and small businesses: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Bookkeeping/ Accounting: 3 years (Required)</li></ul><p>Ability to Commute:</p><ul><li>Seattle, WA 98104 (Required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Seattle, WA 98104</p>
