Description and Requirements
As a Partner Account Manager, SMB at Lenovo, you’ll join a team guided by trust, collaboration, and a shared ambition to deliver Smarter Technology for All. As part of the KSA SMB team, you will play a key role in driving partner-led growth, strengthening Lenovo’s channel execution, and expanding business across Lenovo’s portfolio.
This is a partner-first sales role focused on revenue growth, sell-out performance, market share expansion, and business planning with assigned channel partners. The role requires strong commercial discipline, partner engagement, and the ability to translate Lenovo’s portfolio into clear growth opportunities for partners.
Your detailed responsibilities are:
- Own revenue delivery, sell-out, profitability, and market share growth across assigned SMB partners and territory.
- Build and execute annual and quarterly joint business plans with key partners, including sales targets, pipeline, demand plans, promotions, inventory priorities, and measurable KPIs.
- Lead Lenovo sales cross-sell motions across PCSD/IDG, ISG, and SSG, with particular focus on infrastructure solutions and services growth.
- Drive partner-sourced pipeline and sales performance by supporting opportunity qualification, portfolio positioning, proposal alignment, and commercial negotiation through partners.
- Work closely with pre-sales, product teams, and solution architects to shape solutions, respond to partner requirements, support competitive bids, and position Lenovo infrastructure offers effectively.
- Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, product, operations, and distribution teams to support campaigns, bids, partner events, and quarterly run-rate execution.
- Monitor partner performance, pipeline health, inventory levels, and market feedback, then take corrective actions to improve sell-out, stock rotation, and execution discipline.
You'll bring:
- 5-7 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, distribution sales, or account management within the IT or technology industry.
- Strong track record of achieving revenue targets, growing sell-out, and developing business through partners.
- Good understanding of partner business models, territory planning, pipeline management, and partner performance reviews.
- Familiarity with Lenovo or comparable portfolios across devices, infrastructure, services, and solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen across pricing, promotions, inventory management, profitability, and partner-led execution.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to engage partners at executive, sales, and operational levels.
