The CBRNE Analyst will serve in a multidiscipline role, providing direct feedback on the current and future state of a well-established network of detection and identification instrumentation. The CBRNE Analyst will track long-term trends among different instrument types to establish baseline metrics and develop requirements for automated tools to help quickly identify malfunctions. Utilizing their extensive experience with analytics, candidate will identify hardware depreciation and recommend options to minimize diminishing returns. Candidate will conduct or contribute to market analysis to assess replacement hardware when necessary.
The CBRNE Analyst will provide project oversite for vendor agreements which require in depth understanding of instrument functionality. Candidate will communicate with vendor engineers to explain instrument discrepancies and will establish service procedures and reports. Candidate will assess manufacturer recommendations and corrective actions and provide feedback on service agreement value and benefits.

 be required to serve a one-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. If selected, the requirement to serve such period will be determined by Title 5 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 11.
