</p><p></p><p>This position leads the design, development, production and consultation on various internal and external communications materials and media. Additionally, it provides leadership for a communications team that supports the <b>Caterpillar Oil &amp; Gas and Marine Division (COGMD)</b> within our <b>Power and Energy </b>team.

<b>What You Will Do:</b>
</p><ul><li>Lead a high-performing team of communications professionals
</li><li>Consult with senior leaders and managers on messaging and communication techniques and create positive interpersonal relationships to enhance the ability to influence tactics and strategies
</li><li>Develop strategic communication plans and content in support of driving COGMD&rsquo;s business strategy
</li><li>Develop, edit, review, and approve internal or external communications
</li><li>Drive continuous improvement for communication support and processes
</li><li>Coach staff involved in any communication events or presentations
</li><li>Deliverables to Include &ndash; Communications strategies and plans; key messages; presentations for internal and external audiences; video scripts; internal articles; meeting execution including prep, agenda development, logistics and content; LinkedIn posts

<div>At Houston Methodist, the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) Novice position is Patient Care Technician (PCT) graduate, or an internal internship, and is an entry level position in which incumbents should document, where applicable, care administered, diagnostic measurements, treatments and procedures and demonstrate the ability to continuously progress in basic knowledge and skills necessary to communicate appropriately and carry out delegated tasks for age-specific, diverse patient population. This position receives coaching from preceptors, Registered Nurses (RN) and management and performs delegated patient care tasks under the supervision of the RN. The PCA Novice position responds to the call light system and records data established by policy and procedure, and reports observations and patient problems to the licensed nurse. This position is responsible for assigned non-nursing functions. The PCA Novice position practices Patient and Family Centered Care in concert with Houston Methodist ICARE values.
