BookBub is looking for a motivated early-career Account Coordinator to provide key support to the publisher relations team, helping our account managers drive business and coordinate promotional campaigns for our big publisher partners (e.g. Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, and other major publishing houses!).</p>

The anticipated salary range for this role is $52,000 - $55,000 annually. The salary offer will be commensurate with experience, and will be adjusted within or around this range based on the candidate who ultimately joins our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on research experience in partnership with healthcare providers, student-athletes, and researchers. Understanding when a student-athlete is ready to return to play after concussion is an important decision, because of the risk of repeat injury and prolonged recovery that may result from premature return to play. Dr. O'Neil was awarded a grant to determine if a new dynamic, exertion test helps healthcare providers with return to play decision making after concussion. The Clinical Assessment of Sports and Physical Exertion (CASE) is a sub-maximal exercise test that assesses a student-athlete's ability to handle dynamic and multidirectional movements after concussion. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will be working directly with healthcare providers at a local high school to administer the CASE to student-athletes recovering from concussion. You will also play a key role in participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, and informed consent; scheduling and coordinating study visits; data collection; regulatory and IRB-related activities; and participant remuneration.<br>
<br>
**As part of this role, the incumbent will regularly travel to a local high school in the greater Boston area to support study-related activities. Candidates must have reliable access to transportation that enables timely and consistent travel to and from the work site.**<br>

<div><p>The Assistant Research Scientist II in EcoMAP serves as an observer on aerial surveys of whales, dolphins and sea turtles in New England waters. They are responsible for sightings and effort flight logs, data quality checking, and submission to the North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium sightings database. Submission to the sightings database ensures we meet our grant reporting deliverables. They are also responsible for photo-analysis of digital imagery for species detection and identifications, and processing and facilitating submission of right whale data to the North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium Identification database. Submission to the identification database requires independent judgement when making decisions about photograph processing to ensure data accuracy. Finally, the Assistant Research Scientist II will act as lead observer in the plane in the absence of survey coordinator or Principal Investigator (PI). Acting as the lead observer requires independent judgement when making decisions about survey protocols, which are significant to staff safety, ensuring permit compliance, and accurate data collection.</p><p>
This is a full-time, 1-year, grant-funded position with the possibility for extension. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package. This position requires some irregular hours and some long days on flight days. Occasional work on weekends and holidays will also be required for fieldwork. The usual hours for non-fieldwork will be Monday - Friday, 9a - 5p with flexibility based on the fieldwork schedule, which represents a 35-hour week, with a 1-hour unpaid meal period each day. Non-fieldwork can be conducted remotely. Remote days are only available for residents of MA, RI, NH, ME, NY and VT. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation to get to and from New Bedford airport as early as 7am.</p><p><b>
