The ideal candidate is a social impact leader with deep connections with the educational and/or nonprofit sector(s) and possesses strong relationships with public officials, community-based organizations, and philanthropic leaders rallied around the educational success of children.

They will guide staff and AmeriCorps members to achieve regional goals, impacting over 1,800 students and over 700 volunteers. The ED will work from Reading Partners' regional offices 1-3 times per week to lead regional strategy, operations, and team engagement.

The primary responsibilities of the Executive Director are to:

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Buildings University, the Deputy Director, Course Provider Administration, is responsible for administering the Course Provider Program in accordance with applicable NYC Rules, including 1 RCNY 105-03 and relevant Local laws. This role oversees course provider application reviews, registered course provider approvals, renewals and vendor-supported identification card management through a central training registry platform.

</li><li>Supervise analysts and other administrative staff responsible for course provider application processes, DOB approved courses and requirement updates, program information on the DOB website including the listing of registered course providers.
</li><li>Verify, reviews and updates spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, and tracking tools related to course provider applications and compliance
</li><li>Review course provider applications, registration documents and provide final sign-off on approvals, renewals, and determinations.
</li><li>Oversee Department approved course providers, ensuring ongoing compliance with program requirements.
</li><li>Coordinate with internal subject matter experts, legal counsel, IT staff, and other internal stakeholders to support program implementation and compliance with regulations.
