What You&rsquo;ll Be DoingTechnical Accounting and Financial Reporting<ul><li>
Support and manage month-end and year-end closing activities.</li><li>
Prepare and review financial statements, financial schedules, reconciliations, and management reports.</li><li>
Maintain General Ledger accuracy and investigate account discrepancies.</li><li>
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and supporting documentation.</li><li>
Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and supported by appropriate audit trails.</li><li>
Apply sound accounting principles and support compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, UK accounting practices, or other applicable standards.</li><li>
Support audit preparation, internal controls, compliance reviews, and financial governance initiatives.</li></ul>
Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting<ul><li>
Support annual budgeting, recurring forecasts, and financial planning activities.</li><li>
Analyze actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.</li><li>
Perform variance, trend, profitability, and cost analysis.</li><li>
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for senior leadership and operational teams.</li><li>
Identify financial risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.</li><li>
Translate financial data into clear insights and practical recommendations.</li><li>
Track performance across projects, departments, clients, and business units.</li><li>
Build, maintain, or utilize financial dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms to support leadership decision-making.</li></ul>
Operational Finance<ul><li>
Support day-to-day finance operations across multiple client accounts and business functions.</li><li>
Review and validate invoices, billing records, contracts, approvals, payment terms, and supporting documentation.</li><li>
Monitor client billing, vendor payments, accruals, aging reports, and transaction activity.</li><li>
Investigate billing, payment, and reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.</li><li>
Support project accounting, cost tracking, utilization reporting, and financial performance monitoring.</li><li>
Maintain strong financial documentation and operational controls.</li><li>
Recommend improvements to finance workflows, reporting processes, and internal systems.</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Business Partnership<ul><li>
Partner closely with Payroll, HR, Operations, Project Management, Global Delivery, and senior leadership.</li><li>
Communicate financial results, risks, and operational concerns clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.</li><li>
Support leadership with financial information required for business decisions.</li><li>
Coordinate across departments to ensure financial and operational alignment.</li><li>
Contribute to finance-related projects, system implementations, process improvements, and organizational initiatives.</li><li>

Requirements 

Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.</li><li>
Minimum five years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, operational finance, corporate finance, or a related function.</li><li>
Strong technical accounting foundation.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial statements, General Ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.</li><li>
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.</li><li>
Experience with operational finance activities such as billing, invoice validation, payment controls, project accounting, or cost tracking.</li><li>
Ability to interpret financial information and explain its business impact.</li><li>
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.</li><li>
Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-management skills.</li><li>
Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, IRIS, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.</li><li>
