The ABN Fellowship is a training and work-placement program targeting foreign-trained professionals for the finance and healthcare fields. This 3-month fellowship is a direct effort to address the racial and economic barriers that skilled immigrants face in the U.S. labor market. The initiative seeks to place talented, diverse, and multilingual immigrant professionals from different regions of the world in a paid fellowship in a fast-paced work environment with financial, healthcare, or research employers. Through training and a 3-month fellowship, participants will gain the needed work experience to access jobs in their industry and advance their careers following the fellowship.
Nature of the Fellowship
Fellows will receive upskilled training for their respective track and six-week workforce readiness training hosted by ABN.
The ultimate goal of the fellowship is to provide upskilled training and U.S. workplace experience in finance, research, or non-clinical positions in healthcare to enable them to advance their careers after the fellowship. The fellowship will either be in-person or hybrid.

Under direction of the Training Team Lead, the Instructional Designer is responsible for training clinicians on the use of BMC information systems and the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Epic Training Program for the assigned application(s). The Instructional Designer translates workflow strategies into training scripts, working independently and on teams to coordinate training activities and develop training materials, job aids, and promotional materials for the assigned application. This specialist works closely with clinical departments in developing training plans.
The Instructional Designer coordinates logistics and education materials related to training programs. Works closely with training and project teams to build and maintain training environments, ensure upkeep on all intranet content, and classroom materials. Act as a user liaison, communicating feedback from users regarding patient care systems to the application implementers. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:<ul>

Participate in workflow design and system build as the training consultant.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain credibility and effective working relations with the analyst team, application user groups, Clinical Leads, and end-user community.</li>
<li>Participate in the development, and maintenance of the Epic Training Program.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain high quality training materials including classroom curriculum, user guides, presentations, e-Learnings and lesson plans related to their assigned application(s).</li>
<li>Build and maintain the training environment to support various clinical and/or business roles and workflows. Prepare training environment with appropriate patient samples and content based on end-user audience.</li>
<li>Understand and navigate the system build to develop e-Learnings.</li>
<li>Train and provide support to end users and new employees on the use of the specific Epic Applications and other related workflows and business processes as needed.</li>

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
2 + years&rsquo; experience in either of the following:<ul>

Training in a classroom setting and / or distance / remote learning using Zoom</li>
