Position Overview:</b> The Business Intelligence Analyst will support data strategy, build capabilities, and uncover insights to enhance brand performance. This role will provide analytical support and craft executive level summaries to ensure cross-departmental alignment and help drive category management strategies to assist with achieving company profitability goals.</div>
<div><b>
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Administer sales systems including creating, running, and streamlining reports, creating and/or cascading goals, and account management.</li>
<li>Work with VIP and syndicated data platforms (Circana) to generate data and business insights supporting brand and sales teams as well as supplier partners.</li>
<li>Create and manage KPI scorecards by category and brand utilizing a combination of internal sales data along with syndicated data sources.</li>
<li>Analyze sales data at all points within the 3-tier system, including shipments, depletions, sell-through data, and inventory positions.</li>
<li>Utilize Chain specific proprietary systems and tools inclusive of our distributor partners to report and evaluate display penetration and ad execution.</li>
<li>Examine and drive shelf-set standards through brand team direction and collaboration.</li>
<li>Provide insights, analysis, recommendations, and tools to business groups and other departments.</li>
<li>Conduct distribution gap analysis to ensure customer/item efficiency.</li>
<li>Proactively evaluate existing strategies, track key deliverables, and recommend changes when appropriate.</li>
<li>Work directly with Brand and Sales Leadership on the management and execution of strategic initiatives and new concepts to enhance state, brand, and category performance and profitability.</li>
<li>Consolidate and distribute reports from internal and external sources ensuring data integrity and ease of use, aligning brands with suppliers.</li>
<li>Assist in Budget and Forecast process &ndash; including long range planning and analysis.</li>
<li>Perform maintenance of data dimensions and routine updating of tracking tools to promote accuracy and accountability.</li>
<li>Develop ideas within a team environment regarding data organization and sales reporting.</li>
<li>Additional related duties may be assigned, as required.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Qualifications/Requirements:</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years professional sales analyst and/or category insights experience in the alcohol beverage experience preferred.</li>
<li>Candidates with experience using of VIP, IDig, Karma and Circana preferred</li>
<li>Expert in Excel with regards to Data Management, Reporting, and Data Analysis.</li>
<li><ul><li>Experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, Excel VBA and relational databases is a plus.</li>
</ul></li><li>Ability to read, interpret and garner insights using syndicated data.</li>
<li>Strong communication, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, maturity under pressure, and anticipates and resolves problems.</li>
<li>Self-starter, passion to challenge the status quo, curiosity, desire, and ability to think beyond surface level, dive deeper into financials and strategic thinking.</li></ul><br>
