(IN PERSON CLASSROOM ONLY, NOT REMOTE.)A valid TEFL Certification and prior experience teaching test prep, especially TOEFL test prep, are required.Candidates without a valid BPSS license will have assistance from the school in obtaining one.Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Delivering interactive curriculum based on assigned textbooks and syllabus.</li><li>Supplementing textbooks with activities from text, video, games, and other resources.</li><li>Excellent classroom management skills.</li><li>Recording accurate student attendance, ensuring accurate class start/end times.</li><li>Preparing effective lesson plans.</li><li>Grading tests.</li><li>Assisting with intake placement test and orientation.</li><li>Participating in curriculum development, including accreditation and certification submissions, annual review, academic planning and review, needs analyses, surveys, etc.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in English, education, TEFL, or related fields.</li><li>TEFL certificate (CELTA preferred)</li><li>Teaching or tutoring experience.</li><li>Exceptional command of the English language, written and oral, and effective interpersonal communication skills, including sensitivity and diplomacy in dealing with people from numerous countries and cultures.</li><li>Previous experience teaching English as a second language to adults.</li><li>Previous experience with TOEFL test prep.</li><li>Professional demeanor and enthusiastic attitude.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourSchedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Evening shift</li></ul>Work Location: In person
