 As Assoc. Designer for Women's CTB, you will play a key role in contributing towards the Calvin Klein Women's Underwear lines under the direction of Design leadership. Your responsibilities will involve working with design team members to translate creative visions into practical designs, as well as collaboration with cross-functional partners on fabric selection, fit and execution of women's underwear product. Responsibilities:<ul>

Design and develop tech design packs to request prototype samples</li>
<li>Ensures sample yarns are ordered, dyed, and lab-dipped to create showroom samples for the sales team</li>
<li>Sources appropriate yarn qualities
</li><li>Create layouts for patterns, stitches, and garment construction as needed</li>
<li>Manages the yarn library, swatches, and organizational needs alongside an assistant</li>

Requirements<ul>

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sweater design industry</li>
<li>Exhibits a strong work ethic, leadership skills, high energy level, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Style should reflect a soft, elegant and feminine aesthetic.</li>
<li>Demonstrates strong technical knowledge in sweater making, including expertise in yarn qualities, sizes, knitting techniques, and stitches.</li>
<li>Comprehends fully fashioned sweater construction and fit</li>
<li>Exhibits strong illustrative skills for technical flats</li>
<li>Proficiency in Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with Procreate being an asset.</li>
