This role will be instrumental in supporting the research, booking, editing and fact-checking of narrative-documentary style podcasts. CBS Newspath is seeking a Producer with a strong commitment to journalism to coordinate news production and newsgathering operations for its Regional team. This position helps manage the network's response to breaking news and responds to video and editorial requests from CBS broadcasts, owned stations, affiliates, and clients. Excellent people/customer service skills are required. The Producer is also responsible for clipping and publishing Newspath video and scripts and assisting in the transmission and distribution of live video, edited video and correspondent packages. 
The candidate must have experience in working with sources to confirm and verify facts and video elements, especially during breaking news.

 You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with GQ&rsquo;s editorial, social, video, talent, and creative teams to bring GQ&rsquo;s franchises, cultural coverage, tentpole moments, and shoots to life in vertical video.  Coordinate with the Director of Social Originals and Senior Director of Social Media to produce and edit social-first storytelling.

 Translate GQ storytelling into platform-native social video that feels timely, smart, and unmistakably GQ, using a mix of original footage, repurposed clips, and archival/library material.

 Edit quick-turn vertical videos for TikTok/IG, optimizing for watch time, retention, and shareability.

 Build and maintain efficient post-production workflows (templates, graphics packages, versioning systems, captions, exports) to support fast publishing.

 Partner with editorial stakeholders to create vertical videos to support events, big stories, interviews, and cultural moments by shooting and editing social video.

 The Brennan Center seeks an individual with excellent writing skills, a strong grasp of current events and public policy, and a keen sense of messaging to provide strategic assistance to the President &amp; CEO of the Brennan Center, Michael Waldman, and the Brennan Center&rsquo;s Managing Director, Jeanine Chirlin.
 
 
 The Executive Communications Strategist will work closely with the President and Managing Director on all aspects of their roles at the Brennan Center, with particular attention to internal and external communications. The role is part project management, part thought partnership, and part research and writing.
