Test room lighting, notify engineering of burned-out bulbs when encountered, reset spot lights and test podium lights</li><li>
Refresh meeting rooms for continuing meetings</li><li>
Prepare coffee breaks, carts and stations with appropriate supplies</li><li>

This non-exempt internship pays an hourly rate of $28.00 and is full-time (40 hours per week). Interns are expected to work during our standard business hours, which are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Interns are typically required to work onsite at our Seattle office every Tuesday, with the option for remote work on other days based on departmental needs.</p>

Financial Planning and Analysis</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop a working understanding of the in‑house Cost Allocation Model by analyzing allocation scenarios, validating model accuracy through clear checks and controls</li>
<li>Create SharePoint documentation specifically for the Cost Allocation Model that explains methodology, drivers, and rate changes over time</li>
<li>Assist with the forecasting process by creating reports, reviewing data, and spot-checking financial information.</li>
<li>Provide Cost Allocation Model recommendations on cost drivers and allocation inputs to improve transparency and usability.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Accounting</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and other accounting tasks.</li>
<li>Support preparation and posting of journal entries.</li>
<li>Assess opportunities to incorporate fringe calculations within the ERP system to improve accuracy and automation as part of the model development.</li>
<li>Create process documentation, change timelines, and self-service resources in SharePoint to support finance operations.</li>

<li>Experience using SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI for data analysis, reporting, or visualization is a plus.</li>

<p>Responsible for collecting active A/R from insurance payers including but not limited to commercial, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Uniform Medical, United Healthcare, HMOs, PPOs, and other payers. Contact insurance payers by either phone or online inquiry regarding unpaid hospital claims. Review remaining balances on account after insurances have paid to determine appropriate next action. Review denials by insurances for entire claims and for line items to determine if additional follow up is needed or assistance from other departments and forwarded to them as needed, including Care Coordination, Revenue Coordination, Registration, etc.</p>
