</div><div>We are looking for a dedicated, personable, hands-on Controller seeking a dynamic opportunity to guide our clients and provide transformative accounting services. Successful candidates must be comfortable working with multiple clients both virtually and on-site. The Controller will interact with clients, their staff, Board of Directors, and Finance Committees on a regular basis.</div>
Responsibilities:

Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients. Your responsibilities would include:</div><ul><li>
Transforming nonprofit client financial departments to help them meet their mission!</li><li>
Financial reporting for management and Board decision making and presentations</li><li>
Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures, supporting client strategy and best practices</li><li>
Transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing), and payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and maintaining workpapers</li><li>
Analysis and data visualization, budgeting and forecasting</li><li>
Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting</li><li>
Prepare for and manage annual audit
</li><li>Client and staff training opportunities</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Passionate about working in or supporting non-profit organizations</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance</li><li>
5-7 plus years accounting experience</li><li>
Experience working in a remote environment preferred</li><li>
Ability to manage and lead multiple clients, work independently, and be responsive on a timely basis
</li><li>Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>
Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, and electronic bill pay systems</li><li>
Non-profit accounting, public accounting experience, and/or consulting experience is a plus but not required
</li><li>CPA certification is a plus</li><li>
Bilingual-English/Spanish a plus</li><li>
Our part-time employees are expected to work during normal business hours to best serve our clients</li><li>
