Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges.
Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a &ldquo;developmental disorder&rdquo; because symptoms generally appear in the first 2 years of life. People with ASD may face a wide range of issues, which means that there is no single best treatment for ASD. Working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family is an important part of finding the right combination of treatment and services. (Reference, National Institute of Mental Health)
As a Behavior Technician,<ul><li>
You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in their home or at MeBe&rsquo;s Learning Center clinic</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll relay info on your kiddos&rsquo; progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.</li><li>
At the end of each session, you&rsquo;ll accurately record the kiddo&rsquo;s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.</li><li>

Successful completion of the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Program required</li><li>
Working knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, generic &amp; trade name equivalents</li><li>
Knowledge of Federal &amp; State laws / regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services</li><li>
Ability to learn &amp; operate the pharmacy computer system &amp; other equipment</li><li>
Ability to stand for long periods of time w/ frequent bending, stooping, lifting &amp; reaching</li><li>
Ability to read, understand &amp; transcribe pharmaceutical information</li><li>
Lift or transport items of 1 - 50 lbs</li><li>
Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, &amp; behaviors necessary to provide superior &amp; culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members &amp; to customers, contracted providers, &amp; vendors</li><li>
Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills</li><li>
