The Barista is an essential member of the Food and Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.
Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is a requirement of this role.
As one of the primary contacts for guests dining in the cafe, the server is responsible for serving food &amp; beverage. Duties include greeting &amp; welcoming guests, suggestive selling, describing menu offerings, recommending beverage pairings, anticipating guests&rsquo; needs and monitoring overall guest satisfaction. Baristas must maintain a clean work environment and set up the following team for success. Baristas must have a very thorough knowledge of all menu items and be able to operate effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities include creating an environment where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best and advance.

The successful candidate will assist with event preparation, food service, dishwashing, and maintain a clean, organized workspace before, during, and after training and events.BOH Duties<ul><li>Prepare training and event spaces prior to guest arrival.</li><li>Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and small appliances throughout the day.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and storage spaces.</li><li>Restock kitchen supplies, beverages, and event materials.</li><li>Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.</li></ul>Hospitality &amp; Event Support<ul><li>Serve food and beverages during trainings, client meetings, and networking events.</li><li>Set up and break down buffet stations, dining areas, and meeting spaces.</li><li>Provide attentive and professional customer service to guests, partners, and internal teams.</li><li>Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout events.</li><li>Support culinary demonstrations and assist presenters if needed.</li></ul>General Responsibilities<ul><li>Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.</li><li>Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working with clients and team members.</li><li>Assist with additional event-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in hospitality, food service, catering, restaurant, or event operations preferred.</li><li>Experience with dishwashing and maintaining commercial kitchen cleanliness.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented.</li></ul>Schedule &amp; FlexibilityThis position requires approximately 32&ndash;40 hours per week, depending on business needs. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required, as evening hours are expected to support client dinners, networking events, trainings, and special programs.
