We are part of the crisis response system, providing information and referrals to a variety of resources including (but not limited to) food, shelter, rent, utility assistance, legal, health, and employment services utilizing our comprehensive resource database. <ul><li>Always performs teller transactions and cash handling functions for clients with accuracy and confidentiality. Examples include deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, check cashing, balancing cash drawer, etc.
</li><li>Accurately performs and supports daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch. Examples include appropriate use of double custody in balancing the ATM, processing night drop deposits, balancing negotiable instruments, processing returned mail, balancing credit card machine, updating lobby rate sheets and brochures, etc.
</li><li>Mitigate risk by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.

The pay range for this role is $21.30 - $24.00.

The Opportunity
WSDOT is seeking a motivated and innovative professional for a unique Transportation Planning Specialist 3 (TPS3) opportunity focused on advancing pedestrian access statewide. Reporting to the Active Transportation GIS and Data Specialist, the Sidewalk Data Specialist will play a lead role in strengthening data stewardship practices, representing the Active Transportation Division on a cross-divisional destination access analysis team, and integrating comprehensive statewide sidewalk data into WSDOT&rsquo;s core business processes.
In this term-limited role, the specialist will collaborate closely with internal partners to pilot and refine new data collection strategies for pedestrian infrastructure. Serving as a subject-matter resource, they will also support and train internal staff and external partners, including local agencies, on effective sidewalk data collection and use. The position works in close coordination with research partners responsible for the statewide pedestrian data resource, ensuring WSDOT&rsquo;s procedures align with broader data stewardship goals. 
What to Expect
Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, the Sidewalk Data Specialist will:<ul><li>
Lead implementation of pedestrian infrastructure data stewardship process improvements for the agency.</li><li>
Develop and deliver training materials for internal staff and contractors responsible for piloting new data stewardship procedures.</li><li>
Initiate and monitor internal staff and contractor participation in the piloting of new processes, providing technical support as needed.</li><li>
Prepare an internal report following pilot completion that documents project outcomes and effectiveness.</li><li>
Coordinate with members of Public Transportation Division and Multimodal Planning and Data Division in the design and implementation of a statewide destination access analysis.</li><li>
Lead active transportation data and policy integration on the destination access analysis project.</li><li>
Participate in project advisory group meetings.</li></ul>
