This role is ideal for aspiring educators who are ready to learn in a high-impact classroom environment, grow their instructional practice, and develop the skills needed to become a strong, effective teacher.

  As a Teacher In Residence, You Will:

   Support scholars&rsquo; social-emotional development and positive behavior
  </li>

   Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to inform instruction
  </li>

   Build strong relationships with scholars, families, and staff

   Participate in coaching cycles, professional development, and reflection
  </li>

   Complete requirements for teacher certification/licensure pathway

   Education (must meet one):

    Associate's degree or higher OR
   </li>

    60+ semester hours from accredited institution OR
   </li>

    Passing score on ParaPro Assessment (minimum 456)

   Interest in pursuing teacher certification/licensure
  </li>

   Strong commitment to working with scholars in an academic setting
  </li>

   Ability to meet state certification requirements

   Preferred Qualifications

  Experience or training that supports your readiness for a classroom role is a plus.

   Coursework in education, child development, or a related field

   Experience with tutoring, mentoring, or coaching
