We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with advanced QuickBooks experience and a strong background in construction accounting.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and understands construction accounting, job costing, project profitability, vendor management, and full-cycle bookkeeping.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage full-cycle bookkeeping</li><li>Accounts Payable (A/P) &amp; Accounts Receivable (A/R)</li><li>Process vendor and subcontractor payments</li><li>Bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records</li><li>Prepare monthly financial reports</li><li>Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger</li><li>Track project costs and profitability</li><li>Assist with job costing and project financial reporting</li><li>Work closely with project managers and the production department</li><li>Maintain organized accounting records and documentation</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience</li><li>Full proficiency in QuickBooks (Required)</li><li>Ability to manage the company&rsquo;s books independently using QuickBooks</li><li>Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable</li><li>Strong understanding of construction job costing and project profitability</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li><li>Professional communication skills</li><li>Reliable and dependable</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Construction industry experience</li><li>Remote Online Notary (RON) certification is a strong advantage</li><li>Spanish is a plus</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li><li>Stable full-time position</li><li>Monday&ndash;Friday schedule</li><li>Professional office environment</li><li>Career growth opportunities</li><li>Join a fast-growing construction company</li></ul>About Novara ConstructionNovara Construction is a full-service construction company specializing in Roofing, Windows &amp; Doors, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Remodeling, and General Construction.
