<p>The Aloft Indianapolis Downtown is looking for an energetic and friendly individual to join our beverage team as a bartender at W XYZ Bar located inside Indy's newest and trendiest hotel destination; boasting 128 guestrooms, a full-service bar and a small plate dining concept. Aloft is a hip Marriott lifestyle brand focused on style, personality and a lively hotel social scene to cater to the next gen traveler.</p><p>As a bartender, you would be responsible for the following tasks:</p><ul><li>Prepare drink orders including craft cocktails, wine, liquor and beer.</li><li>Adhere to craft cocktail recipes to ensure consistent beverage quality</li><li>Prep garnishes and complete craft cocktail batching</li><li>Monitor seating in the lounge/bar area ensuring all guests are served.</li><li>Maintain an environment of safe alcohol service by monitoring guest alcohol consumption in accordance with TIPS certification standards</li><li>Maintain bar cleanliness, work areas and tables, glasses, utensils and bar equipment.</li><li>Restock bar as needed.</li><li>Ensures all temp logs and waste logs are maintained daily.</li><li>Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Prior experience working as bartender is required</li><li>Strong knowledge of basic cocktail recipes</li><li>Ability to learn and execute in house craft cocktail recipes</li><li>Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean</li><li>Ability to obtain an alcohol service permit.</li></ul><p><b>Benefits</b></p><p>Scarlett Hotel Group is a growing hospitality leadership company that manages a diverse portfolio of hotels that include Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott brands.
