As a Barista for Porter Hospitality, you'll prepare and serve outstanding coffee beverages while educating customers about Onyx Coffee's distinctive flavor profiles and sustainable sourcing practices. You'll be the face of our caf&eacute;, creating memorable experiences for each customer.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

</div><ul><li>Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested.</li><li>
Describes product details to customers in partnership with Onyx coffee.
</li><li>Receives and processes customer payments.</li><li>
Serves prepared baked goods including pastries.</li><li>
Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.</li><li>
Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.</li><li>
Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.</li><li>
Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.</li><li>
Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.</li><li>

Accurately handle POS transactions and orders, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in a high-paced setting.

Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>
1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality or food service.
</li><li>CA Food Handler&rsquo;s Permit required.
</li><li>Experience working in both counter-service and full-service settings is a plus.
</li><li>Previous barista training or willingness to learn espresso and coffee preparation is preferred.</li></ul><div><b><br>
