Job Description:
Do you want to be an &ldquo;Intelli?&rdquo; Intelligentsia is a specialty coffee company, founded in Chicago in 1995, which means we just turned 30 years old! We do business differently to forge new paths in specialty coffee. We are pioneers in the direct trade model for buying coffee and creating coffee partnerships all over the world. We&rsquo;re passionate about coffee, and that means we pay a bit more for coffee in order to buy direct and create long-term, collaborative relationships with our producers that grow exceptional coffee.
The starting wage for a Barista in Silver Lake is $18.96/hr. There is an extensive training program and a new hire generally should become full-bar capable within 90 days. After certification, the pay rate improves to $19.90/hr. The position is eligible for tips. These average $5.00 -7.00/hr. 
 
Baristas in our Los Angeles coffeebars are part of the IBEW Local 1220 union. After a probationary period, employees are required to join the union and pay monthly dues.

Job duties:<ul><li>
Operationally, adhere to policies, safety standards and protocols, and make suggestions for improving operations</li><li>
Prepare and serve beverages that adhere to our freshness and quality standards</li><li>
Maintain your coffee knowledge to educate and communicate with guests</li><li>
Engage with all guests in a hospitable, sincere and friendly manner.
</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED is preferred</li><li>
Speak and read English proficiently</li><li>
Dependable with good attendance and punctuality</li><li>
Can effectively communicate with others</li><li>
Able to learn and master coffee tasting profiles and dial-ins</li><li>
Good teamwork skills</li><li>
Able to multi-task and work in a high-volume environment</li></ul>

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team! We are a long-established fine wine specialist catering to wine collectors and wine storage in West Los Angeles looking to hire a full time or part time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate would be providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong Mac skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in office management software and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position. Full time position is Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 6pm.
