Key Responsibilities:

Manages Roll-off, hazardous waste, water services or vacuum routes and driver / laborer performance on a daily basis for this seven-day, 24-hour operation for the Texoma Gold Team Driver. This position requires up to 90% travel throughout Texoma and is based in Houston, TX. 
 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities. Coordinates daily operational needs with Maintenance team.</li><li>
Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements.</li><li>
Manages the end-of-day check-in process, capturing and communicating key service, safety, and equipment issues.</li><li>
Monitors driver and laborer time and attendance, minimizing overtime and ensuring that drivers do not exceed limits established by regulatory agencies (e.g., 60 hour rule).</li><li>
Reviews daily or weekly demand / volume for trucks/routes, determines potential gains from re-routing, and recommends re-routes to the routing specialist.</li><li>
Sets and monitors productivity, service, and safety targets for each route and driver.</li><li>
Promotes a union free atmosphere and where appropriate, establishes collaborative relations with unions.</li><li>
Works with functional groups to resolve employee relations and labor relations issues.</li><li>
Acquires and coordinates temporary workers assigned to assist drivers on routes.</li><li>
Ensures that drivers comply with physicals, drug or alcohol tests, and training required by regulatory agencies.</li><li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Valid Driver License.</li><li>
Previous commercial painting, industrial painting, automotive painting, facilities maintenance, or equipment refinishing experience preferred.</li><li>
Experience with prep, grit blast and final paint of heavy machinery required.</li><li>
Required to understand all paint related safety training including, Haz-Mat, respirator, VOC, and paint booth operation.</li><li>
Ability to communicate professionally to customers and fellow employees.</li><li>
Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport.</li><li>
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on operational needs.</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>
Familiarity with Airport operations a plus.</li><li>
Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>
Possess basic mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of a Painter, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircrafts and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment of a Painter is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees will work on an airport ramp around aircrafts and around heavy equipment.
