JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p><p>
The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in driving success across the division by supporting the Division Leadership and collaborating closely with the Manager of Site Inspections. This person will be responsible for the geographical territories as assigned. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of strategies that enhance community impact and engagement, while maintaining compliance with property codes and governing documents. The Assistant Manager will make recommendations for site portfolios, working with the Manager of Site Inspections and local division leaders to address challenges and optimize service delivery. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, this role involves fostering a positive organizational culture and promoting long-term success through strategic planning and development initiatives.</p><p>
Key responsibilities include facilitating communication between the Site Management Team, the Manager, and local division leaders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism. The Assistant Manager will also play a crucial role in mentoring and training team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and innovation. Customer Service and Satisfaction:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with Board Members in all divisions, acting as a trusted advisor when issues arise to ensure their needs and expectations are effectively addressed.</li><li>Address Board Member complaints promptly and effectively, following through to ensure satisfactory resolutions and maintaining positive relationships.</li><li>Address and resolve escalated challenges from homeowners, ensuring timely and effective solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.</li><li>Collaborate with the Client Relations Manager to implement strategies that ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, continuously monitoring feedback and making improvements as needed.</li><li>Analyze customer feedback routinely to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the Manager of Site Inspections for changes that enhance service quality.</li><li>Regularly assess customer service practices to ensure they meet company standards and identify opportunities for enhancement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>

</p><p>Essential Duties &amp; Key Responsibilities:
</p><ul><li>Assist with providing training for safe work practices, implementing Building L.I.F.E. (Living Injury Free Every Day), project safety programs and Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EH&amp;S) programs, policies, and procedures for construction project and Trade employees.
</li><li>Assist with reviewing subcontractor safety programs for completeness and compliance with company policies, Federal, State, and Local regulations, and owner contract requirements.
</li><li>Assist with reviewing subcontractors training as per OSHA standards.
</li><li>Assist with promoting safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with company, Federal, State, and Local regulations, and owner/contractual requirements.
</li><li>Assist with administration of drug screening program (e.g., pre-employment, post-accident, random, cause) in alignment with company and project owner requirements.
</li><li>Assist with coordination of preconstruction meetings with supervisor.
</li><li>Assist with conducting effective worker orientation program for new employees; administer and record participation.
</li><li>Assist with gathering Pre-Task Plans (PTPs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for project contractors based on contractual requirements.
</li><li>Assist with maintaining safety records (e.g., PTPs, JHAs, training records, tool box meetings, OSHA 300 log, Material data Safety Sheets (MSDS) and chemical inventory sheets, incident investigations and metrics).
</li><li>Assist with conducting Safety meetings, record and issue meeting minutes as directed by supervisor.
</li><li>Assist with maintaining log of subcontractor toolbox safety meetings held with their staff and provide summary report to supervisor.
</li><li>Assist with conducting project site safety audits and work area inspections, develop inspection summary including recommendations for corrective action per company policy, and work with supervisor to issue reports of violations or unsafe practices to subcontractors for immediate resolution.
</li><li>Assist with identifying and reporting safety violations or unsafe practices, with emphasis on situations of imminent danger to life or property.
</li><li>Assist with conducting effective worker orientation program for new employees and administer and record participation.
</li><li>Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

<p></p><p>Qualifications:
</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from accredited degree program in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field of study, and minimum of 1 year of related construction safety experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
</li><li>Basic knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques
</li><li>Familiar with Federal, State, and local Environmental Health &amp; Safety regulations
</li><li>Familiar with general construction operations
</li><li>Ability to identify safety related exposures and propose corrective actions
</li><li>Demonstrate elements of leadership from within, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to build professional relationships
</li><li>Professional verbal and written communication skills
