Dispatch SupervisorPosition Summary:The Dispatcher Supervisor is responsible for all activities related to Local pick up and deliveries. This position will be responsible for the overall performance of our Trucking division including final mile delivery and Linehaul operation, customer service, inventory control, process improvements, safety, maintenance, and security. The Dispatch Supervisor will provide support to Terminal management in establishing warehouse performance objectives and is accountable for achieving these objectives.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Making sure all Dispatch e-mails are answered in a timely manner, within 30 minutes of receiving.</li><li>Provide quotes to our customers for all our service areas using the Quote function in Worldtrak.</li><li>Create new shipping orders using Worldtrack, ensuring all required data is updated and completed, including bill to reference fields, Shipper references, pieces, weight, dims (Airline accounts excluded).</li><li>Assure all related Documents required are uploaded (Scanned) in Worldtrak, no exceptions.</li><li>Provide Tag # and confirmation of booking to the Customer in a timely matter.</li><li>Assure all Tags are accurately rated and all accessorial are updated in the cost/billing tab.</li><li>Build and create a Local Manifest and assign it to the driver using the WT App that drivers have on the phones. Assure they update POD once they complete the Delivery using the APP. Make sure the hard copy is either uploaded by the Driver using the APP or providing it when they return to the Station.</li><li>Watch Dispatch Workflow, update incoming EDI in a timely matter.</li><li>Advise Customer if we can&rsquo;t make service commitments set forth by Customer in a timely matter (within 30 minutes of receiving)</li><li>Advise Customer if free time has expired and wait time will be charged in a timely matter.</li><li>Resolve operational issues and escalate them if necessary</li><li>Assure Equipment is maintained by Drivers is clean and Damage free, take the time to inspect our equipment at least once a week</li><li>Confirm with the Driver that they have all the tools they need to execute the service requirement.</li><li>Hold driver accountable if they miss their delivery or pick up window without contacting dispatch to advise the reason of service failure that this information can be related to the Customer in a timely matter.</li><li>Familiarize yourself with our Equipment and understand the difference between them.</li><li>Maintain daily Trailer Inventory.</li><li>Utilize Samsara to monitor locations and time commitments of Drivers.</li><li>Assist with Claims, with identifying root cause.</li><li>Manages staff Labor hours in Paylocity and minimizes Overtime</li><li>Assures staff is taking daily Lunch breaks at the midpoint of their shift.</li><li>Increases effectiveness by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; develop Motivate, Empower and Engage a Team culture.</li><li>Assist in establishing customer service standards and communicate these standards to all employees, establish SOP per accounts and share with the Team.</li><li>Other tasks assigned by Management.</li></ul>ACT2 Services provides equal employment opportunities and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person

<div>PRN Transporter position - 2nd shift 1p o 9p. When needed for weekends, 5p to 5a. 
 
At Houston Methodist, the Transporter position is responsible for transporting acute, intensive and critical care patients in a timely manner by wheelchair, transcart, stretcher or bed. This position supports the interprofessional team in delivering high quality patient care during transit. The Transporter position moves inpatients and outpatients to diagnostic testing and therapeutic areas, clinics, physician's offices, admissions and discharges throughout the complex. This position will assist with preventing patient falls by retrieving the Hover Mat/Jack, lifting and moving the patient to a stretcher and transporting the patient back to his/her room. The Transporter position must be able to communicate appropriately and work closely with nursing staff and co-workers. This position delivers patient room furnishings such as bed extensions, sleep chairs, and transports empty beds, as requested, as a backup duty when others are not available.

SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Communicates to nursing department to notify staff of patient transport which includes reviewing patient passport for completeness and understanding for clarification of handoff, checks patient identification using two-step verification, prepares patient for transport identifying IV bags, Foley catheters, or infusion pumps, etc., needing special handling.
</li><li>Maintains adequate supply of transport equipment in lobbies and equipment rooms, as appropriate. Clears equipment left on floors, in hallways and unauthorized areas by moving them to designated equipment storage areas or reporting the equipment to the dispatcher, as appropriate.
</li><li>Properly disposes of soiled linen on department and/or nursing unit and removes other items left on equipment such as urinals, bedpans, emesis basins, etc. Removes some equipment no longer needed for the patient care from the transport equipment and places it in the soiled utility room, as appropriate.
</li><li>Contributes towards improving department scores for patient satisfaction/experience on unit-based scorecard through peer-to-peer accountability and providing timely transports.

QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Reports observations, conditions and problems of patients to licensed personnel to achieve desired patient outcomes. Provides for the privacy of patients and families, keeping the safety of the patient in mind.
</li><li>Disinfects equipment before and after each use, allowing sufficient time for the disinfectant to dry thoroughly.
</li><li>Transports and stores oxygen tanks in approved holders. In collaboration with clinical staff as appropriate, ensures that oxygen cylinders selected are appropriate for use to reflect the current airflow status. Completes patient handoff when returning to department.
</li><li>Operates all transport equipment in a safe manner. Tags equipment needing extensive repairs, takes damaged equipment out of service and delivers appropriately for repair.
</li><li>Reports any potential harm or conflicting information to management for input in Patient Safety Net (PSN). Supports initiatives to prevent conditions such as pressure injuries, patient falls, and hospital-acquired infections. Contributes towards improving quality and safety scores on the unit-based scorecard, through peer-to-peer accountability.
