   Observe existing violations, if any, and update the reporting authorities with suggestions/recommendations to avoid further recurrence.

   Coordinate to ensure completion and submission of all periodic reports to the respective stakeholders, in compliance with local regulations and procedural requirements, in a timely manner.

   Guide and monitor the overseas Compliance team in adherence to internal compliance mandates and ensure timely resolution of issues, as identified.

As a <b>Senior Compliance &amp; Safety Engineer,</b> you will responsible for ensuring that constant maintenance standards applied to Qatar Airways and Customer aircraft are satisfied to the requirements to QCAR Parts 145, M and 147 and EASA Parts 145 and 147. You will also be responsible for supervising as a part of Audit or Investigation team and ensure objective of assigned task are met.</p><p>
Specialization of this role is maintaining and developing Safety Management System in CAMO and MRO environment. Safety Management System is consisted of different elements which are Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance and Safety Promotion. From occurrence data, investigation insights to identified hazards and risks, this role is central for providing periodic reports on safety performance monitoring thru data trend analysis and other qualitative means to the safety working groups, safety action group/safety review boards. Safety promotion of these activities is essential to improve visibility of these actions made in the organization. If you have creative safety mindset, this is your opportunity.</p><div><b>
Specific responsibilities for the role include:</b><br>
<ul><li>Lead occurrence report investigations, follow up and verify the implementation of corrective action within specified timescales to ensure company&rsquo;s product and performance meet acceptable standards and make recommendation as necessary.</li><li>Review regulatory changes and update keeping current company technical procedures and manuals (MOE, TPM, ASL, LSM, CAME, MTOE, RAC &amp; Capability register etc.) to maintain compliance to acceptable levels. For this purpose, Senior Compliance &amp; Safety Engineer will liaison with Regulatory Authorities or external parties in coordination with Manager Investigations.</li><li>Be involved in preparation of Compliance and Safety Notices and Compliance and Safety leaflets and review such documentation if prepared by other Compliance &amp; Safety Engineer.</li><li>Senior Compliance &amp; Safety Engineer will from time to time be required to review, assess and advise Manager Compliance &amp; Safety on authorisation related queries/issues.</li><li>Be involved in review of occurrence reports generated from within technical or externally assigned to technical to ensure they are investigated to find the root cause and related recommendation are addressed to mitigate re-occurrence. When part of an investigation team, Senior Compliance &amp; Safety Engineer will be required to lead the team.</li></ul></div><p><b>

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:<br>
<ul><li>Relevant College or University qualification with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (B. Eng., BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Aeronautical Engineering), or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with ICAO type II license.</li><li>Experience in Compliance &amp; Safety/Quality assurance/maintenance/ continued airworthiness environment/quality auditing.</li><li>Training on Compliance &amp; Safety / Quality audit as well as QCAA / EASA Part 145, M, &amp; 147 training.</li><li>Must have completed the Management training and assigned role specific technical courses.</li><li>Detailed knowledge of air legislation, particularly ICAO, QCAA, EASA &amp; FAA Regulations.</li><li>Detailed Knowledge of Compliance &amp; Safety/Quality &amp; Safety systems, continued airworthiness and aircraft maintenance fundamentals.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities with analytical skills.</li><li>Understanding and application of regulatory requirements.</li><li>Conversant with use of computers and AirNav &amp; My Boeing Fleet.</li><li>Good English communication skills both written and verbal.</li></ul></div><p><b>
