About the Position:

General Role Description
Provide accounts payable services for a multi-entity and multi-currency international operation
Role Accountabilities<ul><li>Process supplier invoices and expense reports in the ERP Accounts Payable modules</li><li>Research invoice discrepancies and make changes as needed</li><li>Prepare weekly payment listing for Controller review and process approved weekly wire, ACH, and check payments</li><li>Download cleared check data from bank and update outstanding check listing monthly</li><li>Review internal and external financial records and reports, such as expense reports, check registers, outstanding checks, vendor records for errors or potential fraudulent activity or disbursement, and report to manager</li><li>Perform intercompany accounts payable reconciliations, investigate and resolve variances, and ensure timely settlement</li><li>Calculate and record foreign exchange revaluation gains and losses related to accounts payable, intercompany balances, and foreign currency transactions</li><li>Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely invoice payments and capture early payment discounts, where applicable</li><li>Respond to payment inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders</li><li>Close Accounts Payable (AP) module in ERP according to financial monthly and annual schedule</li><li>Provide requested data for year-end external auditing</li><li>Audit monthly corporate credit card reports to ensure accuracy and proper accounting, and perform month-end journal entries</li><li>Test and implement ERP finance module changes and update work instructions accordingly</li><li>Perform other accounting functions, when assigned</li></ul>

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills</li><li>
Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
</li><li>Availability to travel less than 5%</li></ul>

Direct workflow, assign responsibilities, and provide day-to-day supervision of Staff 
Accountant(s).</li><li>
Onboard, train, and develop direct reports to ensure technical competency and 
adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.</li><li>
Partner with cross-functional managers to provide accounting guidance, primarily related to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.</li><li>
Oversee and ensure accuracy and compliance of the Company&rsquo;s sales and use tax processes, including audit support.</li><li>
Support the preparation of audited financial statements by ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes. 
Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and 
proper documentation in accordance with audit standards.</li><li>
Maintain audit-ready financial records, including supporting schedules, documentation, and reconciliations required by internal and external auditors.</li><li>
Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests, including year-end 
financial audits, sales tax audits, and other regulatory examinations.</li><li>
Evaluate, document, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting; identify gaps and recommend process improvements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.</li><li>
Assess and participate in testing of new system implementations or changes that impact the general ledger, ensuring proper controls and audit compliance.</li><li>
Coordinate and gather information for Research &amp; Development Tax Credit 
documentation and support.</li><li>
Coordinate unclaimed property review in collaboration with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.</li><li>
Perform detailed variance analysis and investigate fluctuations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results.</li><li>
Coordinate and enforce record retention policies and procedures in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Establish and communicate performance goals for direct reports; provide ongoing 
feedback, coaching, and formal performance evaluations.</li><li>
Motivate staff to achieve high performance standards while maintaining a strong control and compliance environment.</li><li>
Approve PTO, manage staffing coverage, and address attendance or performance 
concerns as needed.</li><li>

<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting or related field required;</li><li>
3+ years prior staff management experience required;</li><li>
