Position Summary:</b></p><p>
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to all members of the Human Resources Corporate Team. They are responsible for the highest level of detail in managing day-to-day administrative tasks related to employee records and HR systems, as well as assisting team members with various ongoing projects as assigned. As a team member of Petes Fresh Market, it is important that Petes Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service are always exemplified.</p><p><b>
Essential Functions and Duties:</b></p><p>
Maintain accurate and updated records of employee information, such as personal details, benefits, and performance reviews.</p><p>
Handle confidential information with sensitivity and in compliance with data protection regulations.</p><p>
Process new hire documentation (e.g., applications, I-9s, uniform orders, etc.).</p><p>
Generate and maintain well-organized employee files and payroll reports.</p><p>
Perform administrative or project duties as assigned by the HR Director with a high degree of accuracy.</p><p>
Respond to General Employee Service Requests.</p><p>
Provide data and technical support to the HR Team as needed.</p><p>
Act as a liaison with other departments to streamline communication for HR Team.</p><p>
Represent Petes Market in a professional manner.</p><p><b>
Education, Certifications, and Qualifications:</b></p><p>
High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate and five (5) years of full-time work experience in a Human Resources Department in an administrative or clerical role (must provide copy of High School Diploma or GED) <b>or</b></p><p>
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree or higher and one (1) year of full-time work experience in a Human Resources Department in an administrative or clerical role (must provide official transcripts at time of interview)</p><p><b>
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</b></p><p>
Must be Bilingual (Spanish) - Advanced</p><p>
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a <b>high </b>concentration in Excel spreadsheets</p><p>
Prefer some HRIS experience (e.g., Paycom)</p><p>
Prefer strong project management skills</p><p><b>
Physical Demands and Work Environment:</b></p><p>
