Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer I to join our Data Platform team and help build the foundational data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and AI/ML capabilities across Quorum&rsquo;s product portfolio. You will work alongside experienced data engineers and architects to design data models, build and maintain data pipelines, and ensure data quality across our platform.
This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about data engineering and eager to grow. You&rsquo;ll gain hands-on experience with modern cloud data technologies while contributing to a strategic platform that serves 1,800+ energy companies worldwide. You will report to the Data Platform team manager and collaborate closely with product engineering teams, data architects, and data scientists.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver data from multiple source systems into our centralized data platform</li><li>
Develop and maintain dimensional data models (fact and dimension tables) following established patterns and standards set by the data architecture team</li><li>
Write and optimize SQL queries and transformations for data processing workloads</li><li>
Understanding and ability to build medallion architecture within a Data Lake</li><li>

Requirements<ul><li>

Job Summary
Supervises one of the functional areas within fire protection (Operations, Training and/or Prevention). Plans, develops, reviews, implements and evaluates department policy. Receives new guidance, regulations or procedures from the Fire Chief and disseminates information to subordinates. Prepares and schedules assignments of subordinate personnel to operations, training and/or fire inspection duties. Roles and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Responsible for study, design, specification and services of transportation systems (road, rail, airport, seaport), bridges, infrastructure, drainage, underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, water resources and raw water supply, tunnels, geotechnical design, and other civil engineering works.
</li><li>Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers.
</li><li>Sets the technical standards and procedures of a group of engineers and designers.
</li><li>Conducts various aspects of performance management such as performance appraisal or counseling of employees with behavior or technical performance problems and assists in the interviewing, hiring, and assignment of new personnel in the discipline.
</li><li>Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.</li><li>
Provide required training to maintain a proficient workforce and ensure compliance on CE related</li></ul>
inspections. Inspections shall include but are not limited to USAFE/AFIA Management Internal Control Tool Set (MICT) directed Self Inspections, Unit Effectiveness Inspection (UEI), Environmental Management System (EMS) Audits, internal self-inspections, and Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs).<ul><li>
Submit data for the preparation of annual USAFE Civil Engineering awards, Installation Excellence awards, and other award submission packages.</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications
<ul><li>US Citizenship</li><li>
U.S. Secret Clearance required.</li><li>
Shall possess a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or Architecture from an ABET accredited college or university, or approved equivalent.</li><li>
Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA).</li><li>
Shall have DoD installation-level working experience.</li><li>
Shall have ten years (5 of the 10 years in supervision) experience in engineering design, construction, maintenance, repair, operation of major real property facilities, facilities programming and planning, and the formulation, coordination, and administration of civil engineering plans and programs.</li></ul>
