The intern will provide graphic design and project management support for editorial and print projects, including publications, decks, and reports, to increase fundraising opportunities and promote awareness of the ACLU&rsquo;s work nationwide.</p>

The goal of this internship is to offer the candidate a full view of what it is like to work in the healthcare communications field as part of a creative agency. During your time with the agency, you will get exposed to all aspects of the agency and what it takes to bring an idea to life.</p><p>
Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Serving as an active member of the agency team, contributing to day-to-day tasks associated with developing work.</li><li>
Participating in team meetings and, as appropriate, in client presentations</li><li>
Completing various tasks under the supervision of an agency team member, including potentially concepting ideas, generating copy/design elements, capturing and interpreting feedback, etc.</li><li>
Collaborating with fellow interns to complete a special project and presenting to the executive leadership team</li><li>
Seeking out increased opportunity for learning and exposure to aspects of the agency world that intrigue you most</li></ul><p>
Requirements:</p><ul><li>
Current pursuit of a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar</li><li>
Past internship experience or project work in Communications, Advertising</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams), email, and voicemail</li><li>
Above-average attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills</li><li>
Ability to manage a workload consisting of several concurrent projects or tasks</li></ul><br>
Candidates must be a minimum of a Rising Junior and currently enrolled full time in Spring/Summer or Spring/Fall &rsquo;26 semesters.<br>

The Commercial Summer Intern Program runs from May 18, 2026 to July 24, 2026 and all positions will work full time (up to 40 hours per week).<br>

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $24-26 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.<p><b>
