Atlanta, GA 30316), and the Federal Correctional Institution Atlanta (601 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315)</div><ul><li>Provide leadership, vision, and innovation in the design and delivery of peer tutoring related to writing</li></ul><ul><li>Develop, design, and conduct workshops to help incarcerated students with writing assignments</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions for incarcerated students with the help of Morehouse student ambassadors</li></ul><ul><li>Assist incarcerated students with all stages of the writing process, including idea development, organization, argumentation, clarity, and style</li></ul><ul><li>Support writing across disciplines (e.g., humanities, social sciences, STEM)</li></ul><ul><li>Help incarcerated students interpret and respond effectively to writing assignments and prompts</li></ul><ul><li>Encourage revision strategies (rather than proofreading or editing for students)</li></ul><ul><li>Provide constructive, respectful, and culturally affirming feedback</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate session records and documentation as required by the carceral facility and/or HEP program requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in tutor training, professional development, and staff meetings</li></ul><ul><li>Work as a team with HEP and/or carceral facility staff on projects related to the success of HEP students across facilities</li></ul><ul><li>Complete volunteer training with the GA Department of Corrections and/or Department of Justice (for federal prison)</li></ul><ul><li>Uphold Morehouse College&rsquo;s mission, values, and standards of academic integrity and those of the partner institution</li></ul></div>
