The Virginia Class Submarine Program (PMS450) is responsible for the design, construction, certification, and delivery of Virginia Class Submarines. Virginia Class Submarines (VCS) are built to seek out and destroy enemy ships/submarines, working both independently and in concert with carrier strike groups/other ships, providing Joint Commanders with early, accurate knowledge of the battlefield; covert striking power against targets ashore; and the maritime strength to destroy enemy naval forces and interdict seaborne commerce. U.S. Navy submarines ARE the undersea advantage against our adversaries. 
Ship Control Division - PMS 450S: Provides programmatic oversight of VCS SCS, including new construction (NEWCON), In-Service, and future sustainment for VCS. The division oversees with the support of ship control staff the funding of all Fly-by-wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems within PMS 450 as well as NEWCON and the Maintenance/Modernization for In-Service ships. Also responsible for review and concurrence of FBW SCS at-sea testing (Sea Trial agendas) following original system installation, upgrades/alterations, major repair work, or major depot availabilities. The division works to develop and maintain a System Safety Program Plan for Submarine FBW SCS Safety Hazard Analysis Report, Safety Assessment Report and Algorithm Safety Assessment Report. This division interacts with the highest levels of Submarine and Navy leadership. Stakeholders include technical groups within NAVSEA, Electric Boat, the in-service fleet, Nuclear Reactors, Pentagon requirements and acquisition leaders as well as among other program offices in Team Submarine. In this role, you will: 
<ul><li>Be responsible for supporting various NEWCON SW development and certification activities for NEWCON Virginia Class Submarines.</li>

 We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
 
 
 The
 
 Endoscopy Clinical Specialist (CS)
 
 will be responsible for the implementation and training of Medtronic&rsquo;s Endoscopy Solutions customers and potential customers on clinical indications and applications of the Bravo pH Monitoring System, the ManoScan Manometry and pH-Impedance systems, the SmartPill System, and any other products that may be developed, sold or promoted by Medtronic Endoscopy Solutions.
 
 
 You will serve as the clinical product expert responsible for developing greater customer depth in both product and clinical understanding across Medtronic Endoscopy Solutions full product portfolio.
 
 
 Your day-to-day activities will include: product demonstration to physicians and nurses on how to perform all procedures related Medtronic Endoscopy Solutions offerings; handling product installations, and; continuously developing greater depth of knowledge on Medtronic Endoscopy Solutions offerings, in order to serve as the clinical experts for the company, and to be able to convey this information in an effective manner to help support optimal utilization of the full product portfolio by the widest range of healthcare providers possible.
 
 
 You will also provide product demonstration and clinical education to targeted accounts through 1:1 and group interactions to increase customers&rsquo; understanding and proficiency of Medtronic Endoscopy Solutions product line. Lead post-sales activities, including implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support for Medtronic Endoscopy Solutions applications.
 
 
 This CS is based in Kansas City and will travel at least 75% of the time, including frequent overnights and weekends. The geography includes Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, the Dakotas, Western Wisconsin, etc.
 
 
 Responsibilities include:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Demonstrate solid understanding of the clinical application of all products. Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and problem solve
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage regional accounts to drive utilization of all reflux and manometry products within the assigned region
 </li>
 <li>
 Support regional sales strategy; working with regional sales team to achieve business plans and drive utilization of the reflux and manometry products
 </li>
 <li>
 Support regional sales team efforts in lead generation and pre-sale clinical evaluations and demonstrations of reflux and manometry products to demonstrate clinical value
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with inside sales to bring awareness and sale service contracts/plans to new and existing customers
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting/supporting local, regional and national educational courses targeted to physicians, nurses and medical personnel
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support to key decision makers and clinicians throughout the assigned region
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the PACE department by conducting educational courses at national and regional levels for physicians, GI fellows and nurses; provide feedback on opportunities to improve course content
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate and share best practices and other key insights with other CSs to help support them and their regions, and maximize the entire team&rsquo;s effectiveness and efficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Marketing and Sales by appropriately communicating customer feedback, field product performance and competitive intelligence, as required
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Commercial Excellence Department when needed by participating in and conducting product training, as needed for the existing sales force and newly hired Account Managers to develop their proficiency with Medtronic GI Solutions product lines, and to ensure they are fully equipped to successfully drive their business
 </li>
 <li>
 Support and train newly hired CS team members
 </li>
 <li>
 Through Sales Force. Com (SFDC) update account information regarding installation, in-service and training records, as per corporate guidelines and established standard operating procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate and work closely with other team members including Sales, Sales Training, Marketing, PACE, Technical Support, and Customer Service
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned by Director to support the team
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to travel overnight to client facilities by auto or aircraft 75% of the time

 Must Have: Minimum Requirements

 Bachelors degree required
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

 Prior adult education and training experience; in the Gastroenterology-related field is desired
