The Regional Support Engineer, will provide technical support to the Field Service team and act as a primary technical liaison between the business unit and the field. The position will require the ability to deliver customer service that delights and positively differentiates the United Imaging Healthcare experience for our customers. The successful candidate will have many years of experience in Healthcare IT or Medical Imaging Systems support, service, and repair. He / she will also help lead the tactical buildup of multi-modality workstations and server experience in the customer service organization as we go through a period of fast growth. Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Acting as Regional Support Specialist for HSW (Healthcare Software) systems in the USA: providing rapid technical support to Customer Service Engineers and Customers, both remote and on-site as needed.</li><li>
Responsible for technical knowledge transfers to field-based Customer Service Engineers to drive world class first-time-fix rates.</li><li>
Responsible for developing and delivering technical service training courses at our Training Center in Houston, Texas.</li><li>
Providing technical support as required to the Field Service Teams in order to drive world class customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Responsible for triaging, coordinating, managing, and closing customer escalations; working closely with the Field Service and BU teams.</li><li>
Acting as a technical interface between HSW Business Unit and US Field Service organization for HSW modality.</li><li>
Tracking, monitoring, and communicating top reliability and serviceability issues as reported by the field.</li><li>
Providing guidance and input to Field Service team relative to siting, installations, tooling, test equipment and other areas required to provide high levels of customer service.</li></ul>
Requirements: 
Education<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s Degree or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in IT, Computer Science, Radiologic Technology, Health Information Management, or related field.</li></ul>
Experience<ul><li>
Minimum 3-5 years&rsquo; experience in healthcare IT, or medical imaging systems support (e.g., PACS, RIS, or DICOM-based software).</li><li>
Deep understanding of installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting medical imaging software, workstations, and servers.</li><li>
Hands-on experience setting up and managing remote server capabilities for diagnostics and support (e.g. VPNs, remote desktop/tools, secure remote access, and monitoring software.</li><li>
Field service / technical support experience in high tech medical imaging</li><li>
Working knowledge of DICOM standards, HL7 integration, radiology worklows, and image data transfer between modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, etc.) and systems.</li><li>

Hitachi Particle Engineering and Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Service Technician to provide service and maintenance for the Proton Beam Therapy System, which is used for treating cancer at The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and the associated support systems as assigned. The Service Technician will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance. The Service Technician will work as part of the team to ensure compliance of technical and mechanical programs such as; worker safety, spare parts program, tool management, equipment tagging, facility procedure compliance, administrative procedure compliance, office equipment and systems by following all necessary procedures, protocols and guidelines.

 Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML systems with end-to-end ownership of the model lifecyclefrom conception to deployment and maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Architect and deliver AI-powered solutions enabling natural speech interaction and real-time audio understanding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and optimize ML models focused on audio data to extract business-critical insights from previously unstructured voice data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build agents capable of operating natively on real-world audio inputs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the foundations of the AI stack, improve tooling, and drive innovation in LLM and audio ML applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work directly with customers to identify needs, gather feedback, and deliver impactful real-world solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle the entire AI lifecycle, including data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, deployment, inference, and monitoring in production environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in continuous improvement of the ML infrastructure and processes for scalability and performance.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 1-6 years of professional experience in ML engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong programming skills in Python (TypeScript experience is a plus).
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with cloud environments and infrastructure (preferably AWS).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of data pipeline design, real-time inference, and model monitoring.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customers and stakeholders.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Core Experience

 <li>
 Proven experience building and deploying ML models into production environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to own the full model lifecyclefrom data ingestion and model development to deployment and monitoring.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with audio-focused ML projects or similar domains involving unstructured data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in building scalable data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with FastAPI, OpenAI APIs, Baseten, LiteLLM, LiveKit, PostgreSQL, Redis, and S3 is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid grasp of ML systems architecture, feature engineering, evaluation strategies, and deployment best practices.
 </li>
