The <b>Alarm Monitoring Supervisor</b> manages a group of up to ten operators who answer fire, burglary, video, and other alarms, as well as emergency phones. The group interacts directly with customers and fire &amp; police departments across the nation. The Supervisor is responsible for staffing, training, and managing the operations of the shift and ensuring that all alarms, phone calls, and other advisory signals are processed and responded to correctly and expediently. The Supervisor also performs other duties assigned by the CMS Manager or Customer Service Center (CSC) Director.</p>

This is a 2nd shift position at the Siemens Central Monitoring Station (CMS) with the hours of 14:00 - 22:00.</p><p><b><br>
As the Alarm Monitoring Supervisor, you will:</b></p>

<li>Lead a team of operators that responds to fire and security alarms at commercial customer sites across the nation.</li>
<li>Ensure team members are logged in and working at station at the start of their shift and ensure there is adequate staffing on the succeeding shift.</li>
<li>Set the example for team members regarding all Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook and ensure shift members are adhering to Siemens Practices including the Employee Handbook.</li>
<li>Provide employee performance feedback to management and work with manager and Human Resources to address any staff disciplinary situations.</li>

Required Qualifications:</b><ul><li>

Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating Thales CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE) for unstructured data at rest, including file, folder, and volume-level encryption
</li><li>Deep understanding of CTE agent architecture, GuardPoints, policies, and In-Place / Live Data Transformation (IDT/LDT) concepts and trade-offs
</li><li>Proven experience administering CipherTrust Manager (formerly DSM/Vormetric) for: Centralized key lifecycle management, Policy enforcement and Audit and access logging
</li><li>Strong engineering experience with Linux (RHEL, SLES), Windows, and AIX in enterprise environments
</li><li>Practical knowledge of supported file systems (e.g., ext3/ext4, NTFS, NFS, raw disk encryption scenarios) and their interaction with CTE agents</li><li>
Ability to assess kernel compatibility, AES-NI requirements, and host readiness prior to encryption enablement
</li><li>Strong understanding of data-at-rest encryption principles, including: Threat models beyond disk theft (privileged user access, data exfiltration), Why file/folder-level encryption is required in addition to disk encryption, Knowledge of AES-256 encryption, hardware acceleration (AES-NI), and performance considerations in high-IO workloads and Experience operating encryption solutions in regulated environments

This role provides architectural and technical leadership to ensure access is provisioned, modified, and removed in a secure, automated, scalable, and compliant manner across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments for both human and non-human identities.<br>

Own the end-to-end architecture for access provisioning, including joiner, mover, leaver processes, entitlement lifecycle management, and access de-provisioning.</li><li>
Define and maintain target-state and transition architectures that drive automation, least-privilege enforcement, and reduction of manual access processes.</li><li>
Establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails for access provisioning, entitlement modeling, and application onboarding.</li><li>
