<div>Amentum is looking for a Firefighter/EMT to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for responding to fires, rescue, and emergency medical needs of the AUTEC Community to include Range User personnel and assets on the AUTEC project. 
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. 
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>
Perform general structural and aircraft firefighting and rescue duties and responsibilities through a variety of established techniques and approaches under the supervision of a company officer.</li>
<li>
Respond to medical emergencies and performs basic pre-hospital patient care in accordance with established protocols and standard procedures.</li>
<li>
Respond to Hazardous Materials emergencies and perform offensive and defensive control and containment tasks.</li>
<li>
Respond to water borne POL spills and operate watercraft and deploy boom and other materials to control, contain, and recover spilled product.</li>
<li>
Drive a variety of fire apparatus, ambulances, and related vehicles to emergency and non-emergency incidents in a safe and professional manner.</li>
<li>
Operate fire apparatus pumps and appliances to produce required fire flow demands.</li>
<li>
Perform basic daily operator inspections and maintenance on fire apparatus; clean, wash, and service equipment, inspect, test, and maintain equipment and pumps including but not limited to nozzles, appliances, fittings, fire extinguishers, hand and power tools, ropes, ladders, emergency lighting equipment, generators, rescue and first aid and related equipment.</li>
<li>
Flow-test fire hydrants and fire sprinkler systems, pressure testing of hoses, and weight certification of ladders.</li>
<li>
Perform facility fire prevention inspections and related services as directed.</li>
<li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Minimum Requirements:<ul>
<li>
Minimum six (6) years related experience working as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician.</li>
<li>
High school graduate or equivalent.</li>
<li>
Must hold National Registry - EMT Basic certification or have the ability to obtain after hire.</li>
<li>
Must have DoD or IFSAC Fire Fighter I and II, ARFF, and HazMat Operations.</li>
<li>
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material or equipment.</li>
<li>
Must be able to work in confined and/or smoke-filled spaces.</li>
<li>
Must be able to wear Self Contained Breathing Apparatus.</li>
<li>
Participates in daily physical fitness training per DoD requirement and must take and pass company physical and recurrent physical annually.</li>
<li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>
<li>
Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.</li>
<li>
Valid Driver's License and passport are required.</li>
<li>
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.</li>

DoD Airport Firefighter.</li>

Compensation Details:
$13.00 - $17.00

<div>Amentum is seeking a Fire Captain to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the US Navy Detachment - Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC). The Fire Captain will work with the Fire Chief to execute policies, follow guidance to achieve goals and objectives for the department. The Fire Captain will serve as the Entry Team Officer at all emergency incidents that may occur because of natural forces, major accidents, fire or explosions, oil and hazardous material spills, and/or accidents occurring in confined spaces.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>
Work with the Fire Chief to plan and develop policies and establish goals for Fire Fighters and Fire Department personnel.</li>
<li> Assume duties of Fire Chief when required, including Fire Department operations, records management, and reports preparation.</li>
<li>Ensure that all vehicles are inspected and operational checks are performed on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Ensure that all firefighting, hazmat, and rescue equipment is tested, repaired, inspected, and maintained.</li>
<li>Ensure the inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of all hydrants, fire alarm boxes, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, as assigned.</li>
<li>Implements, monitors, and enforces safe working practices of all employees during routine assignments and emergency operations.</li>
<li>Ensures 100% accountability of all personnel under their authority at all times.
</li><li>Work requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.</li>
<li>Customarily directs the work of two (2) or more employees. Has the authority to recommend hiring, firing, promotion, and change of status of employees.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Company and governmental guidelines and regulations pertaining to the responsibilities of this position.</li>
<li>Instructor for all phases of emergency response, such as firefighting, hazmat response, confined space rescue, etc.</li>
