As the Dispatcher you will support the Dispatch Supervisor in achieving all fleet and dispatch office needs. Responsible for sure creating and managing routes, ensuring Drivers complete necessary paperwork, and promote safe driving habits. In this position you will represent U.S. AutoForce when interacting with customers and other internal teams. 
 
Schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or until job is complete. Schedules are subject to change with business needs.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><ul><li>
Ensure drivers complete all required daily paperwork: Driver logs, pre and post-trip inspections, and fuel receipts.</li><li>
Ensure drivers are completing customer returns within 3 days of creation</li><li>
Assist with will-call customers</li><li>
Assist with reviewing Samsara driving alerts</li><li>
Track drivers on Elite and close out all routes and open orders daily</li><li>
Train drivers on PIV, tablet, and safety expectations (may be involved in road tests)</li><li>
Complete all routing requests before scheduled cut-off times</li><li>
Backup for Dispatch Supervisor and EComm</li><li>
Assign lines to be pulled by material handlers for will-call and metro routes</li><li>
Answering phone calls in a professional and timely manner</li><li>
Communicates effectively with call center, sales, customers, drivers and other locations</li><li>
Spot check trucks for cleanliness and compliance, assist drivers when a breakdown occurs</li><li>
Backup driver, order pulling, operate power equipment as needed</li><li>

QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>
Must be 21 years or older (mandatory company policy)</li><li>
Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy</li><li>
1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor</li><li>
1 year experience in transportation industry</li><li>
Knowledge of DOT regulations and legal requirements for drivers</li><li>
Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills</li><li>
Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts. Pass a forklift certification test</li><li>

 The Work Order Dispatcher - JPM is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. The role involves coordinating and dispatching work orders to the appropriate teams, ensuring schedules are maintained, and providing outstanding customer service.
