SUMMARY: The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is seeking a full-time non-exempt Guest Experience Supervisor to support the Guest Experience Management team. The Guest Experience Supervisor must embrace and model outstanding customer service, run efficient business operations and develop high employee morale for the Guest Experience team members. This position assists with the daily operations of the museum, supporting the Guest Experience Management team to ensure consistent high standards of customer service, and performs essential duties to support the team. Responsible for assisting in scheduling floor coverage for a team of 45+ employees in a 365-day operation, the Guest Experience Supervisor will provide consistent staff support working within budgetary guidelines. Works with managers of other teams to provide maximum support of all staff and volunteers. Responsible for supporting floor operations as necessary, including exhibit and sales floor coverage.Communicates effectively with other Guest Experience Managers, Membership, Retail, Food Service, Security and Facilities personnel to provide consistent coverage and smooth operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Responds immediately to all guest complaints and issues using best judgment to resolve.</li>
<li>Monitor team performance, reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management.</li>
<li>Assists with training new staff.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting in weekly preparation of guest experience team schedules, including special events scheduling; ensures that schedules are prepared accurately and on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate records for employees in regard to attendance, approving requests for time off, shift trades and drops.</li>
<li>Provides additional guest experience floor support (both front of the house and back of the house) as needed.</li>
<li>Act as sales lead for guest experience team.</li>

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 Position Summary
 
 
 
 Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Reception position is responsible for greeting guests with a warm welcome, guiding the guest safely into and throughout the venue, checking in reservations, seating guests within the venue to dine, and guiding guests through the fun and excitement of the Puttshack experience.  Our venues are open 7 days/week, typically from 11am-1am with some variations. While we will do our best to accommodate scheduling preferences, they may not always be guaranteed, and we value flexibility. All positions within our venue are variable schedules, meaning a typical work schedule may be anywhere between 15 and 30 hours on a weekly basis depending on business needs and individual availability.

 Greet guests with positive energy and get them excited to play

 Assist with general cleanliness of the reception, cloakroom, and guest services area

 Assist guests with gameplay check in at the kiosks

 Guide guests to seating areas and deliver menus

 Answer questions and address any issues with a friendly demeanor

 Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures

 Take direction and be a team player
