 Actively participate in the development of the three-year Audit Universe and Risk Coverage framework in the area of Engineering, Reliability and Maintenance and Refining and other technical areas within the group.

 Provide assurance from a multi-disciplinary point of view, on the technical, financial, commercial, economics, operations, environmental, legal, marketing and any other relevant aspects of the technical areas to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures.

 Carry out risk assessment to decide on the criticality as per risk matrix and identify significant audit observations for reporting to Head of Audit - Bapco Refining (HABR).
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow-up on the implementation status of Agreed Management Actions on a quarterly basis with relevant stakeholders as directed by HABR.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify the training needs for self-development to assist HABR in maintaining adequate audit competencies in the department.

 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil Engineering or equivalent Professional Audit and Accounting Certifications such as CIA/CPA/ACCA/CFA not required but desirable.

 <li>
 Successful candidates should be prepared to undertake the CIA exam sponsored by the function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar would be an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 10 years+ of operational experience in capital intensive industrial projects within business planning, development, financing, execution and the close out phases OR 10 years+ of operational experience in operating a wide variety of industrial process units, including equipment such as columns, exchangers, pumps, furnaces, valves, process lines, and similar OR 8 years+ of project performance audit experience including feasibility, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed engineering, construction and the close out phases, preferably in a large company.
