What Will You Be Doing?</b></p>

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for primary planning, organizing, coordinating and communicating operational functions in station/Focus City operations. Also serves as the liaison to critical operational departments, both internally and externally, who support the consistent delivery of safe and on time performance.</p>

JOB SUMMARY</b></p><p>
The State Utilities Office Intern will gain exposure to the daily operations of GDOT&rsquo;s utilities coordination efforts. Interns will learn about Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), Railroad Safety and Coordination, Permitting, Preconstruction, Construction support, Billing and Payments, and SUO Leadership. This internship provides insight into how utility and railroad coordination supports transportation projects from planning through construction.</p><p><b>
PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Assist with reviewing utility permits and accommodation requests</li><li>Support Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) documentation and coordination</li><li>Observe railroad safety and coordination processes</li><li>Assist with preconstruction and construction utility coordination activities</li><li>Support billing, payment tracking, and documentation processes</li><li>Participate in meetings and project discussions with SUO staff and leadership</li><li>Help maintain records and ensure compliance with GDOT policies and procedures</li></ul><p><b>
