</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>A minimum of 3-years of experience functioning as a design assistant, junior interior designer or interior architect in the multi-family market or similar.</li><li>Strong sense of urgency, organization and close attention to detail a must. Excellent communication, research and problem-solving skills a must. Need to be able to act, presenting information as things arise with possible solutions.</li><li>Maintain up to date and organized shared physical (as needed) and electronic files, primarily in Programa, BlueBeam Revu, REVIT, CAD, Excel and Word.</li><li>Generate and maintain ongoing updating of plan sets inclusive of specifications, elevations, custom furniture and millwork distributed to architectural partners and construction teams. Plans are developed in REVIT and AutoCAD following in-house style guidelines.</li><li>Participate in creating specification documents, scope sheets, presentation decks and turnover packages.</li><li>Work with in house construction teams to communicate design intent and clarification as needed.</li><li>Work with team on procurement, vendor relations and assist with warehouse coordination both local and out of state.</li><li>Provide onsite support and assist with coordination of installation &amp; logistics teams, including construction, movers, labor, vendors, building management &ndash; both local and out of state. Requires post installation documentation to close out job.</li><li>Participate in the selection of FF&amp;E and presentation when required. This includes FF&amp;E replacements for annual improvements at existing buildings, working with our finance and property management teams.</li><li>Documentation of existing conditions and field verification for building refreshes.</li><li>Ability to stand, lift, carry, climb, and stoop for extended periods of time and multiple days in a row during installations and warehouse days.</li><li>Installation requires out of state travel for typically a week at a time.</li></ul><p>
SKILLS &amp; REQUIREMENTS</p><ul><li>Experience with multifamily building types a plus.</li><li>Basic understanding of construction process, construction drawings and documents.</li><li>Self-motivated and confident problem solver with a positive attitude, taking initiative when needed.    Contractor shall receive, prioritize, and process requests such as document review or requests for advice or legal technical assistance;

   Contractor shall research and locate responsive information documents and identify relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles;
  </li>

   Contractor shall perform typical Paralegal functions, including: moderately complex legal research; synopsizing transcripts of hearings and oral arguments for attorney use; reviewing case related materials; and identifying potentially conflicting statements or areas requiring further investigation;

   Contractor shall write preliminary drafts of legal memoranda and correspondence;

   Contractor shall assist in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, exhibits, etc.; conducting legal analysis, reviewing documents for relevance and privilege; and assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation;

   Contractor shall review the work of peers for accuracy and provide constructive edits to ensure quality and thoroughness of review and processing;

   Contractor shall support and collaborate the management efforts to foster teamwork, planning and decision making;

   Contractor shall organize and maintain accurate records of assigned requests. This includes keeping detailed case notes, utilizing discovery work plans, using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and entering case information and metrics into the OGC-LITB case tracking database;

   Qualifications:

   Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.

   At least two years of litigation paralegal experience is required; trial experience is very helpful.

   At least one year of experience in automated litigation support. Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
  </li>
  <li>
   Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
  </li>
  <li>
   Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Role also requires hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
