  Undergraduate Research Assistant

 interested in prostate cancer research and biomarker development to perform routine work in a research laboratory.

  Responsibilities

   Prepare media and reagents, such as stock solution.
  </li>
  <li>
   Rinse and prepare glassware for cleaning.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain clean and orderly laboratory area.
  </li>
  <li>
   Clean and maintain lab equipment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Check and replenish supplies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with experiments and set-up.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform clerical duties as required.
  </li>
  <li>
   Cell culture and maintenance of laboratory cell lines and organoids.
  </li>
  <li>
   Nucleic acid extraction and purification.
  </li>
  <li>
   Processing biospecimens for immunohistochemistry and related assays.
  </li>

   Assisting with assays of cancer therapeutics.

 The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
