OVERVIEW</b></p><p>
The Level 2 Post Release Services (PRS) Case Manager plays a critical role in providing essential support and services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors. This position requires a high level of technical and professional expertise to provide essential support and advocacy in ensuring the safety and well-being of children. The Level 2 PRS Case Manager primary focus is ensuring the well-being and successful integration of minors into their new environment.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>
Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate post placement services and comprehensive case management for minors.</li><li>
Carry a case minimum caseload of 15 PRS cases, services are provided virtually and in person every 90 days.</li><li>
Complete individualized needs assessments with minor and sponsor, and develop case plans with particular attention to culture, language, and special circumstances.</li><li>
Provide ongoing case management services to children and families based on their assessed needs.</li><li>
Apply a trauma informed approach to support families in building trust through safety, connection, and self-regulation.</li><li>
Maintain a high standard of record-keeping according to AI and ORR policies and procedures utilizing the UAC Portal and internal software systems.</li><li>
Position requires up to 50 percent long distance travel with limited notice.</li><li>
Provide information, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure that each child receives the services they require.</li><li>
Assess the safety and appropriateness of the placement using child welfare principles and social work best practices through phone/video calls (using WhatsApp or other video conferencing tool), interviews, and home visits.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of health care records and information in keeping with HIPAA and Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements.</li><li>
Must maintain confidentiality in all program areas including information regarding youth.</li><li>
Coordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders.</li><li>
Participate in regular training and communication sessions utilizing Teams, Zoom or other platforms required for communicating with peers, supervisor, and headquarters staff.</li><li>
Display professional conduct and ensure respectful interactions during any contact with children, coworkers, supervisors, ORR representatives, and other vendors or community members.</li><li>
Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations.</li><li>

POSITION REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in social work, behavioral science, or social services with at least two years&rsquo; progressive experience in social services, case management, child welfare.</li><li>
Experience in child welfare, child placements, family preservation and social service provision is desired.</li><li>
Must be skilled at writing professional, thorough assessment reports.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of immigrant community local resources is desired.</li><li>
Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, insurance, and a clean driving record.</li><li>
The position is remote, and the candidate must have an appropriate workspace to complete documentation, client phone calls, and video conferencing.</li><li>

 The Case Manager will join the Community Wellness Team for Family Childcare (FCC), reporting directly to the Sr. Case Manager for Community Wellness. Will efficiently use ADP, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), to maintain employee files in compliance with state and federal law, and to collect and analyze employee-related data to inform planning and budgeting.</li><li>

Provides support for recruiting, including assisting with job descriptions and compensation, placing advertisements, organizing interviews, and onboarding new hires.</li><li>
Supports the HR Manager in processing and managing leave requests through Third-Party Administrator, including FMLA, PFML and Workers Compensation, and</li><li>
Support the HR Manager on tracking and monitoring leave balances and ensuring accurate timekeeping for payroll purposes and leave Management (FMLA/PFML).</li><li>
